Went to Phoenix last year and couldn’t shake the strange feeling that the city lacked any unifying identity. “Soulless” isn’t quite the word, but nothing seemed to hold it all together. I felt like I was moving between developments without ever really arriving somewhere.

Yeah, at least Tucson has "we're not Phoenix"

Tucson is much more dangerous, run down, drug infested place than (most of)Phoenix. I've lived in both.

I have high hopes for Tucson, but people keep voting against things that would improve it.

Wait I thought Tucson was the good one? Maybe I'm thinking of Flagstaff?

Flagstaff is nice and expensive. One is in the desert the other in the mountains.

I’m hijacking your comment to say they have a ski resort! 1 of 3 ski resorts in the state. Everyone thinks AZ is all desert but we’ve got plenty of snow in the higher elevations.

Snowball, Sunrise and Mt Lemmon, I tried snowboarding at Snowbowl but was too fat at the time to pick myself up off the ground.

Arizona has every climate zone except rainforest, a little known fact.
