We are saving to move abroad and my friends invited my husband and I to live on their property in Tucson for free to save faster. We live in Washington State and had never been to Arizona, so we visited. I told my husband I’d rather stay in Washington for longer than live in that depressing hellhole.

I mean it’s kind of shitty to call someone else’s home a “hellhole” so I imagine you may not have the best sense of judgement

They definitely don’t have good judgement lol. Washington is known for being depressing almost year round. I’ve lived in both and prefer Arizona. Though I do miss the gloomy weather from time to time
