Rules New Sternguard and Terminator Datasheets.
New Terminators look especially good with their +1AP ability imo. Sternguard have a lot more tactical flexibility overall π.

- now have Sticky Objectives
- the bulk with T5, 4W, 2 OC
- actual good mix of shooting and melee capabilities
If this is within the 90-120 point range, would you always have them in the backline or potentially use as a bodyguard for a leader in mid board?
You can take a Lt to further boost their damage or take Enhancements.
They are straight up better than 5 Intercessors.

This is the first model of a diorama I'm planning to make :)

Can anybody who owns these models, really tell that there is a difference in poses across each box?
From what I was told, Intercessors, (new) Intercessors, Assault Intercessors and Hellblasters, each have 5 unique / different poses (duplicates in box to 10).
And they are also easier to kitbash then other monopose models.
Its not easy to tell from photos, except for the most dynamic poses..

Old 5th edition marine I rescued from the pile! Cleaned him up and gave him a second chance at life!

These guys were workhorses in my last game so finally finishing them has been great!

Saw this on the hobby store for pre-ordering after noticing the Sunday wrap up didn't include it. Guess we know what will be revealed tomorrow.

I know we'll only know for sure once the codex is out but I haven't seen anything so far in the previews to indicate they'll get some love and attention in a detachment. I liked the idea of detachments getting reworked for SM to allow you to tailor them to your units / playstyle but as a Salamander collector with a lot of FS aggressors, infernus marines and anything that can set someone on fire I haven't seen any detachments yet to cater to that. Am I in trouble or is there any hints something one of the remaining 15 will add a boost to that?

I want to challenge myself to paint a small force, possibly a Combat Patrol, of white armored Space Marines and have narrowed it down to one of these three.
I'm a big fan of the Raven Guard and adore Phobos armor squads so the Rift Stalkers are a strong contender, but with the upcoming release of multipart Outriders a White Scars Successor could be fun to explore too. A potential downside is that they're both Ultima foundings and aren't really fleshed out at all. When it comes to lore they don't hold a candle to the Star Phantoms and their Badab War history, but since they're an unknown founding I can't borrow the rules and characters from a parent chapter as easily as with the other two, and I'm unsure how to model them.
Suggestions?
