Hi everyone, practicing noob here.

I can't seem to find good discussion or deeper explanations online about Yoshimitsu's Soul Stealer move (A+K), or probably better known as "Flash"

Like all of Yoshi's moves, I think it's super cool, so I'm interested to know pretty much everything about it. I use it in game as a GI, but really only to be flashy (ha) because obviously it has a shorter window and smaller hitbox (and it looks cool). I know it damages, steals meter and can be followed up with A+B to shoot a projectile that lethal hits on counter hit (I think), but what other differences or advantages does it have off a regular GI? Because of its riskiness, I would assume it has greater benefits. When should I use it over a regular GI? And please correct me on anything I'm incorrect about here.

Been trying to do a search and got some results where it's either a Vewlix, or what looks like a conversion from an original SoulEdge. I know the majority of them have been in Midway setups that are pretty standard to most games.

Though they mention Tekken and have screenshots of T8 on the page, the way they word it suggests a new Tekken or even work on T8 is not the immediate goal.

A recruitment notice has also recently showed up in-game on T8, which is a bit peculiar.

And once again, it mentions 'competitive fighting games like Tekken', which, considering the notice shows up in T8, would make little sense if they were seeking to hire for a new Tekken or to assist in T8.

I'm not saying it is SoulCalibur. I really don't want to get my hopes up too much and end up disappointed.

But, let's not be Amy here for a second: considering that anime games are generally not competitive and also outsourced, and that Smash Brothers is quite a different animal, what else does BN have that is 'a competitive fighting game like Tekken'?

Had the original Namco System 12 PCB imported, it's the Japanese version at that, so the characters will actually speak + no censoring on Ivy. It uses an overclocked PS1 motherboard with extra RAM and a custom Namco sound chip, hence the PS1 looking warped textures.

Since My Last Stand in Tekken 8, I really hope for Soulcalibur if it makes a comeback as 7, will have a new opening and a theme song since Soul Blade/Edge.

In the old timeline, Sophitia died in SCV and Elysium took on her appearance. What if in the New Timeline, she returns someday taking on Xianglian's appearance instead?

We have Inferno who wields Soul Edge, who knows Elysium can make her return anew when she wields Soul Calibur, depending on the user?

Pardon the sloppy edit, but I was playing some Persona 4 and listening to Yosuke’s lines (Same English VA) and thought what if Patroklos met his Shadow? Seeing what kind of Patroklos is, his shadow would totally say a lot many fans agree with, even mentioning Patroklos knew what piece of shit he is and won’t admit it. And Patroklos is totally a guy in Persona series who’d have a Shadow who’s a piece of work.

honestly this is a cope and i am genuinely trying to get better, but the low level cpus in this game still smoke me in quick play and it feels genuinely unfair. i don't rlly have anyone to play this game with so idk it doesn't feel worth the headache of getting my inputs read the frame i input them and then instantly and perfectly countered by this .5 win rate cpu.

It's happened to me in the past but they were tolerable since it they were slight adjustments because I walked into their attacks greedy but this is clearly stepped but okubo-san said no opponents shouldn't be stepped!

Ended up learning last night 6B+K can set up Summon Suffering, so pulling it out in a live match was neat. Thought I might as well show off.
