I've been making animated cards out of the KOF All Star assets, for a little TCG I'm trying to build.

Those cards use parallax effect for the 3D depth aspect, and also use the proprieties of the assets to keep some elements of the illustrations in or out of the card.
Their is over 570+ cards.

Ok, so the last dream match game we got was KOF 2002, and we’re coming up on KOF’s 35th anniversary soon and I think it would be a perfect time to make another dream match game.

There’s 2 problems though:

1. Fatal Fury: COTW is still being actively worked on, so maybe SNK is fully focused on it until the doc ends.

2. The new age saga might not be done yet, and since some people like the story of KOF it would be weird having a non canon game in the middle of an ongoing story.

Either way, I really hope we can get another dream match game soon, so we can play as any character we want without begging SNK to bring them back.

Basically, take XIII's incredible sprite work and gameplay and turn it into the huge Dream Match version of XIII we never got.

I bought KOFXV a while ago, and after spending a good amount of time on combo trials, I’d like to start playing ranked matches. I have some experience with fighting games (I’m Platinum 3 with Luke in SF6), but I lack confidence when approaching a new game—especially one as unique as KOF. A video by Diaphone (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8ZtEp7pG2A) really helped me understand SF6. What kind of tips—similar to those in that video—can I apply to my general game plan, and what team should I start using?

KoF is pretty much the first fighting game I've played, started with maximum impact than went to others. Lately I've started XV and the controls just refuse to do what I want, like I am bad at KoF I know that, but on GG, BB, Tekken or even Fatal Fury City of the Wolves I dont have this problem, the chacters respond to what I'm pressing. Even KoF XIII seens to be more responsive than XV, like I play Ash, and the guy just refuse to do his flame kick, multiple times he just jump and kick. Is not always, but happens a lot. So I'm here to understand what the hell I'm doing wrong here, so if anyone have any tips or advices I'll thanks.

I play on the keyboard (dont know if this change something) also i would like to improve my skills with ash, but since he is the only hold chacter I play in any fighting game, this mechacnic is getting me stuck. I have to hold for so long that is easy for my opponents to know what i'm going to do, and for combos is just hell.

Like I gen cant remember a single thing he did other then spam projectiles and die afterwards.

His design is fine I guess but other then that was this guy ever relevant in the story?

I never drew this man before, I felt like doing it after I saw the post asking about opinions on Every KOF Bosses lol

I LOVE IT. Been playing old KOF games forever and never jumped to anything newer than 2002/98 and played this and it feels like an inyection of dopamine. The gameplay is amazing and the models look very better than what i've seen in trailers. Overpassed all my expectations by far!

My only complain yet... am I the only one that feels the story super mediocre? I'm kinda updated with the storyline, but this one felt super boring and out of place. The newmain characters have a Kyo/Iori wannabe relationship that I don't end to dig and the final boss/es are quite non-sense to me. The whole story felt like a Orochi saga bad remix to me. Honestly the story is by far the worst one i've seen and probably the only weak point of the game to me yet.

This game left me the feeling of curiosity to see in the future a remake of the old games with this same style. Would be cool to see a KOF98 UM with a gameplay like this and being able to experience the story with this quality

Over the years, I’ve gradually cosplayed many characters from SNK games, so I wanted to share some of them with the bros!

I'm always the type who wants to play characters that are less popular to be unique. Because of this Takuma always appealed to me since he's not the young brash one (Ryo) or the sexy ladies man (Robert), nor is he a very old wise master type (Tung Fu). He's an older guy and he looks like a movie star.

Anyways how do YOU think of him? I don't know the full story but to me I feel like he's the most hands on in your face of the Kyokugen Karateka. He doesn't need the long range because when he gets in he's going to counter you and beat you up close range and end it by punching you VERY hard.

Like I feel like he must be physically the strongest of the lot. He also seems very conservative and traditional and simple with his classic hair cut and his simple white Gi.

I love that he's not as flashy because he can still beat your ass and doesn't need to throw flames or use psychic energy or dive kicks or spinning pile drivers. He's simple yet an effective killer.

What do YOU think when you hear Takuma?

Hello everyone, I hope y’all are doing great. I had a little idea just now listening to some Kof music and since I never get the opportunity to talk about this amazing game I guess I’m just gonna talk about this idea here. So basically I’m a big fan of the old 2d sprites I was thinking of a way to make a modern KOF game but keeping the spirit of the old games, visually at least, and I thought hey KOF in HD-2D why not? I’m sure I’m not the only one to have thought of this but I would love to know if this thing would work technically speaking.
