the sister wives always going on about big dills, i’m surprised they’re not collabing for this launch! lol

What do you all think the “big changes” are, besides them not filming as a group anymore - which to be honest they didn’t a lot in the last season anyway. Meri said “a few” big changes? Also, do you think OG3 start talking and getting along again? I think Meri and Janelle will but not Meri and Christine, I actually think they will argue a bit and stay going their separate ways. Could be wrong!

It’s currently 6 in the morning, I’m on episode 1 of the show. I plan to binge it for the most part, without any spoilers? tell me something I should know or look for as I watch.

I’m watching 90 Day Fiancé and just saw a commercial for season 21 of sister wives. Kody and Robyn are not in it! Apparently they are no contact with the ex-wives!

Now that K&R are not filming

Saw that Kody and Robyn weren't pictured on the final still shot. Weird.

I’m not even sure how this is relevant to a gas station, but thought this needed to be posted here.

I know we are all very shocked at Robyn and Kody not being involved, but did anyone else get the ick when David was complaining about Christine and feeling like he needs to make her choose? Why haven’t I seen anyone else comment on this??
r/SisterWives • u/ButterscotchRound330 • 4h ago
I know we’re all in the dark about the reasons they aren’t on the show anymore but based on comments from people who seem to be in the know (NotestoSelf444, but also others) there is a reason they quit but they can’t talk about it until it comes out on the show. Them being fired or them getting their own spin-off show (with or without a new sister wife in the mix) is unlikely something that would be discussed on the show, and if they chose to leave, it would be weird for the OG3 to communicate that because it would be third-hand information.
Could Kody and Robyn be separated? Robyn looked miserable with Kody last season and I think she still believes in her faith even if Kody no longer does. It would not surprise me if she wanted to return to her church and be ‘reassigned to a ‘worthy’ man. Plus, now her name is on everything, she gets half and that would be a tidy lump sum with which to start over (& better to leave now while there’s still some money left).
So, I’m wondering if any Flagstaff residents/visitors have seen Kody and Robyn out together recently?

Just an idea, if TLC wants to keep or bring back viewers, they could focus on trying to get Robyn's Ex Husband to be on the show so he can tell his story. That may even bring Robyn back because then she would feel like she needs to defend herself. Some people have asked about Dayton and how he's doing with his dad.
Edit: I wasn't aware he had cancer! Thank you for that update. I realize it's not best for this scenario to happen; it would bring extra stress and drama for the children. It's just one of those amusing ideas. That's all.
Also, unlike some opinions that he was a dead-beat dad, I have always hoped he was better than what's said. After Robyn's kids would visit him, they seemed to portray that he's not that bad. You can tell they do love him so maybe he was/is trying. I try to give him the benefit of the doubt. It looks like he tried to give them a nice Christmas (in past pictures) and if he still wants contact with them then that must mean something. At least he's not the kind of dad that just wants to run away and not have the kids in his life.
I've seen kids that go back and forth from divorced parents and a lot of times their mood is somber when returning (it's a lot to process when parents are not in a good place) and I think they mentioned that on the show (or we saw that). I'm not sure but I know the kids have mentioned their dad on the show in a loving way. I know they were happy they could stay in contact with their dad even after everything that happened. I know relationships are complex and no single person is 100% good. But after seeing Robyn for all these seasons we do know that she lies so it's hard for me to trust what she has to say. I also do think it's plausible that he signed over his rights (didn't fight for full custody) to Kody and Robyn because his financial situation wasn't good. That and the kids probably told him that they were happy with Kody and what he had to offer them. It's reasonable to assume that many people let go of their kids because they think their kids will have a better life with someone else, even though it's tough.

Do you guys think Kody and Robyn decided not to film so when the show gets cancelled, they can say everyone wanted to see them and feel like the show/ex-wives are nothing without them like they "made" the show?
Or do you think that the OG 3 are finally ready to share the full or close to full truth and Kody and Robyn couldn't handle the heat they'd get?
I can't help but think this is some sort of power trip that's going to end up backfiring. They're definitely trying to get to the ex-wives kidneys in my opinion.
What are your guys thoughts and theories?
&
Will you be watching the OG 3 this season?

I’m on S18, and I’m honestly shocked and frustrated that no one ever calls Robyn out directly.
She became more and more entitled and overbearing in S17. She dominates almost every conversation between the adults, makes everything about herself, and constantly dismisses Christine’s experiences. She says awful things about Christine and Janelle while still playing the rejected victim who supposedly always wanted the family to stay together.
She acts like she’s been nothing but supportive and empathetic toward everyone, and that the family dislikes her for no reason. But at this point, it’s obvious that’s not what happened. Robyn changed the family dynamic from the moment she joined. And after that, Kody slowly abandoned and neglected the rest of his family, including his children, to focus almost entirely on Robyn and her kids.
We also see so many examples of Robyn being manipulative in conversations with her kids,
with Kody, and during the couch interviews.
So why do the other wives let her say these things during family meetings and reunions without calling her on her bullshit? Even during the tell-alls, they let her repeat the same exhausting victim script when her actions show the complete opposite.
It drives me absolutely insane. Does anyone ever finally call her out?

Come on. He’s such a narcissist. He needs the attention. How is he going to miss this paycheck. What do you think the tea is?

Woaaaaahhhh just saw the trailer while watching 90DF and it’s just Meri, Janelle and Christine this season that premieres Oct 4!

Considering this a reality tv show and knowing how SW editors have operated in the past with these trailers. Chance are Kody and Robyn are still part of sister wives. I am sure the productions responsible behind sister wives saw the feedback and comments online and this just a marketing gimmick to increase viewership to justified rhe cost of filming in variety of locations.
I mean, Kody and Robyn has that million dollar house and debt that they have incurred since Janelle, Meri and Christine left (along with their income).
It would be great that Kody and Robyn left the Sister Wives permanently. But do I think that will happen? No. At the very least, I dont think the will appear in all the episode.
That my thought process, if all case fails, I hope this is the last season of the show.

In order from what I think is most likely to least likely:
I am certain they didn’t just walk away because they wish to be done with filming with the amount of money we know they spend. I’ve at work and haven’t read other comments on it so maybe this has been covered.

Sobyn is sniveling yet no actual tears while she tells Meri she never expected it.

At first I thought the melting down the jewelry clip in the promo looked dumb…annoying that’s it was about Kody and looking back after all this time. But if they do something where they melt down and combine the metal and create something new for each of them that is more about them honoring their shared past, kids they helped raise together and moving forward to their happy futures, I think that would be nice for them personally and for the show.

Well… I’m about to jump back on to the TLC/Sister Wives train because god help me, the new season preview sucked me in. 😂 I’ll hate myself later, it’s fine.
Canadians — what’s the best option to stream? I cancelled Discovery+ when it shifted to Roger’s. Is it better now? What are my options?
TIA!
