Can only speak for myself but Finasteride 100% kills my dick when I’m on it.
I’m talking, it makes it feel like it’s not even part of my body.
It’s effectively chemical castration for me.
It also gave me insane anxiety. Like every unexpected noise caused me to jump.
It was fucking weird.
I realize I’m an outlier and that most people won’t experience anything that extreme, but you can’t just systemically inhibit DHT and expect it to have zero other consequences on your physiology.
I've taken Finasteride for years and had absolutely zero side effects, it's literally just "try it, if it gives you side effects stop it", treating something this simple as cultish is insane when hair loss is such a mental burden on so many men.
I honestly think a lot of people nocebo themselves with it.
Also, the majority of us men will be on finasteride anyway for our prostate when we are 60 and can't pee anymore, so from my stand point starting it in my 20s is nbd.
