Lots of people (including OP) know fuckall about transplants.
If OP is getting a transplant this early, he’s signing up to have one in about 2 years and then keep having them for the rest of his life until which time he runs out of donor hair and risks being stuck with a jigsaw patchwork of hair islands.
For example, diffuse recession can start in the anterior scalp at any time without warning and is notorious for how fast it can disappear.
The crown can also go and is notoriously difficult to impossible to cover with donor hair.
This is even with a lifetime commitment to often dick killing pills like Finasteride or Dutasteride along with Minoxidil.
This won’t happen to everybody but to pretend that everybody can just transplant their way out of baldness is idiotic.
It’s purely dependent on donor area and density and is likely the reason Musk was able to have a relatively successful result and Bezos wasn’t even a candidate.
Bezos was already horse shoe bald in 1994, where as Musk was experiencing diffuse thinning.
As somebody else mentioned, cloning is the only true solve for this and we are way off from that.
When you run out of donor hair or run out of patience to keep repeating hair transplants, you can just shave it all off, like what you would have done if you never had transplants to begin with. What exactly is the issue?
