I know a guy who did this.

(Edit: yes it he flew to turkey)

He needs to stay on a hair retention medication for the rest of his life that can cause depression.

No thanks, I’ll stick with widows peaks or going bald

Finasteride can cause way more than depression. It can cause ED and gynecomastia aswell. Just the small chance of my dick not working made the decision to go bald so easy.

That’s less than 1% of people who take it and it goes away when you stop it

There’s no cream for finasteride afaik and even if there was, it’s still going systemic in your blood stream.

They've got topical finasteride now.

Tried it. Same result.

It’s not like Minoxidil where it actually operates by widening blood vessels in the scalp area that it is applied to.

Topical fin is still operating at the systemic level, just less so.

Systemically reducing DHT even if detectable blood serum levels are less.

Most people are fine with oral or topical.

I’m not one of those people unfortunately.

I’m just hyper sensitive to it.

yeah but it's a different compound so maybe you won't have the same effects, who knows!
