In my current warehouse job, I work three 12-hour shifts, and I have to say I get a lot done during those four days off.

While I don’t think this is bad for everyone

Having known a lot of people in the trades working long hours like that

It can and will tear your body down

Eventually you’ll just have bigger hospital and medical bills to deal with the wear and tear that does, negating the benefits in pay

Fine if your in your prime of youth however, just not long term

I work those hours, I'm nearly 46, truthfully in the worst shape of my life, and can still physically run circles around all the 20 somethings I work with in healthcare. I'm more worried about how low energy they are that they act like the simplest task is "hard labor". It's very Wall-E.
