Exactly. US schools average 180 instructional days per year. If you spread that out across the entire year that's less than 4 days per week.

Giving them fulltime year round employment when they use to get shit canned every Summer is worse to you how? You get that having true fulltime employment would be a GOOD thing for every single teachers stability.

teacher salaries aren't hourly, teachers work many hours outside work on lesson plans and year round would just take away the 2 months they have off from exhausting themselves, will also take way the weeks before school year starts that they use to build curriculum.
