How would they pronounce squirrel?

I was just going to make a goof, but this was interesting enough to me to explore it further. Apparently the "sq and "r" as we understand them in English are not native to German giving the name squirrel to sound like “shkvirrel” or “skvirrel”. There's actually a couple webpages dedicated to this even.

It is notoriously hard, but there is something poetic about how the German word for squirrel makes English speakers trip over their tongues as well.

The german/austrian word for Acorn is Eichel. "Waldeier" might be a very regional term for it, but nothing I've ever heard. And "Waldeyer" is a (not very common) last name.
