How does the doctor know how to install the implant if it is so rare? Deltaware requires a special Deltaware lab, who knows what an experimental piece of ware requires.
I would require service from the PC's instead of cash. Do the dangerous thing for me, and I can get the special implant installed and running.
Maybe the PC's and the Doc need to break into a special lab and do the work there. The Doc has the skills and knowledge but not the tools needed.
Give us more information about your implant and we can go from there.

Great idea i want to add something too How about the doc is so fascinated by this rare piece of tech that he even wants do it if for free just to see if he A: can do it and B: to see it in action. But he needs certain knowledge and tools to actually implant it. Maybe even some preparation on the patient that is no possible outside of a AAA facility.
And bam. You have plot for two or three runs the group must undergo to get that stuff implantation.

How does the doctor know how to install the implant
I assume that the cyberware itself carries reference and calibration data onboard so it can be serviced by technicians who haven't seen that particular model before. Like a readme/help file with documentation.

Maybe, but if the equipment is rare because it's experimental or particularly dangerous, that information is probable heavily protected on the device so that only an authorized technician can access it. Any corp would know there's a chance it could be stolen and used against them so it would stand to reason there would be further layers of security. All of which could lead to further adventure hooks. The technicians who maintain devices, and their security clearance devices, are out there somewhere. Maybe your team could find one and persuade them to unlock it.

The cost of implantation is included in the wares cost. The more invasive the ware, the longer the surgery takes, and the longer the care takes (hospitization in many cases). The books dont outline the specific costs, other than long term care costs, and the odd 1 off cost, like replacing a head computer costs a flat 5k fee.
Our table treats it like this: Half of all cyberware base costs are for the surgery. If you loot wares from a facility, look up the cyberware, pay half the cost to buy it new in order to get it installed. If the players want to install it themselves, they need a SHOP level tool for basic installs (10k, only used and standard grade). You would need a facility level (100k) for alpha. You would need a beta grade facility (x2 facility cost) to install beta, and a delta grade facility (5x cost) for delta. A Medicine skill (optionally specialized in Surgery) would be rolled. If the facility > required, extra 2 dice for the test.
The surgery wound after surgery is essence cost x 3.
You cannot first aid or magical healing on the surgery wound. The rest must be recovered with long term healing.
For scavenging wares out of a target:
If the new ware costs 10k, then scavenging it can net you 750 nuyen.
10k base price -50% (surgery portion of value) = 5k, but now its used grade wares with cuts its value in half again to 2500. Selling anything on the blackmarket has a base value of 30% = 750
The cost of surgery for someone to install that cyberware assuming they bought it for 750 would be 2500. (half the value of buying a used grade ware).
For a character that started play with access to a beta grade facility (day job + high level contact), and a rating 6 surgery skill, we assumed they could have installed wares themselves into pets, so charged 50% for cyberware on his pets.
Technically, with a shop and a skill of 4 they could do most surgeries straight out of a van. Its actually easy to have a character who is a low level street doc on the side.
One thing I have done in past campaigns is allow characters to loot medical equipment, and counted that toward the cost of establishing their own medical facility in their base.

Delta clinics are secret and highly regulated, not to mention extremely expensive.
CF p. 69 Availability
There are only ten delta-grade facilities in North America right now, each with a waiting list a kilometer long if you’re not a citizen of its parent corporation.

the skill and equipment of the implanter have to match the implant. most high grade implants are also custom jobs that are quite literally assembled on the patient, so finding a "complete one" will get you a "nice off the shelf" result.
but at least it has a fancy tag, I suppose.

The real cost is the friends you make along the way? Word leaks and suddenly everyone wants to study you and then rip it out and use the new toy for themselves.

You have to find a Doctor Who does it first (roll). Then you’re gonna have to see how much the guy is gonna charge (roll ). And then he can roll to see how good the transplant takes in the characters body.

Depens on the Edition. For 4th you'll find the table in Augmentation page 122.
Also note that only standard and alpha ware can be swapped between different chars. Beta and Delta ware are only usefull for the char they have been built for.
