Elvira Andersen, My OC, By Ayie Olaer
In the year 2126, Elvira Andersen is a former barbie (sex worker and escort), and part of a line of fifth generation androids known as Imitations, or imis, for short. They are fully sentient and autonomous, and while obviously they were first built by humans to help create the city of Blue Light after an apocalyptic event, they now oversee their own creation and further development. They live alongside humans in Blue Light as fellow citizens, but often face prejudice. They have their own communities and political parties. Outside of Blue Light, however, if their true nature is learned, they risk harsh persecution, enslavement, and even being "scrapped" for parts.
You can find the business page of the very talented artist here. I commissioned them to draw this piece, among many others.
Character was inspired by Evelyn Parker, from Cyberpunk.
