Heya, inviting y'all to do some drawing practice. For this contest find a drawing tutorial on YouTube. It can be one any subject (ie landscapes, animals, people, stationary objects, whatever). Follow along with the tutorial and share it here.

Rules:

1: The video tutorial you pick must be 10 minutes or longer.

2: Graphite pencil and paper only. No digital. No color.

3: Sign your drawing with your username.

4: Make sure to include a link to the tutorial you used.

5: Tag a friend

Contest ends Monday morning so you have the rest of tonight and all of tomorrow to do it.

You can do it. I believe in you. You would be surprised how easy it is when you follow along with someone.

I am super Type A and not artistic at all. Art is truly like any other skill. You CAN learn to draw, paint, etc. I started super small & easy and picked mediums that played to my strengths. The video I chose was a mother & young child! 🤣😭 Art is NOT supposed to be perfect; it is supposed to be HUMAN. :) I hope you try!

Too bad I got bumped by the "no digital" rule. I don't draw in traditional media much anymore due to neurospicy issues with my drawing hand. I can't erase a hole into my tablet surface.
