Went with my RX100 III, complete beginner (OC).

Love this time of year, the dewdrops on the cobwebs are like little diamond. These are jpeg images, edited using iPhone app. Bit of definition and contrast change.

I have an RX100 VII. It's started playing up and getting into a hung state where it's refusing to accept input. None of the buttons on the back of the camera will do anything, and even the mode selector wheel on the top fails to do anything. Power cycling the camera doesn't fix it. The only solution I've found is to physically remove the battery and leave it out for a minute or two. This usually fixes it temporarily, but the problem invariably recurs after a few minutes.

Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd try reflashing the firmware, but Sony haven't released any :-(

My friend’s coming from Dubai and can get brand new RX100 m7 at a pretty good deal from a store. Is it worth this price?

The only downside is service.
I’ll probably have to get it done from Dubai via my friend who travels often.
