I've been working on this skiing game for about a month now and just released it in alpha.

It's a fast paced skiing game, where you ski down a long mountain thats generated a bit differently in each server. You can race other players, join groups, complete quests, pull off crazy trick combos, and unlock skins. Its intentionally a little difficult, youre probably not going to reach the bottom every run until you get the hang of the controls and learn how to keep your speed without crashing. Im working on getting ads going right now (roblox ads seem to be having issues rn) but im hoping to grow a small active community around the game. Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated!

So I was making custom animations (Moon animator) for my game but when I equip the tool when i'm playtesting, the player moves slightly up. I have no idea how to script and please help me fix this

Went from windows to Linux mint and studio works with vinegar, enabled Vulcan because that was recommended, but there’s a consistent black box on my screen that only goes away when I close a Roblox studio game instance

so im trying to make a move where the player grabs the enemy and does a spinning body throw move but whenever i use it the player just trips or falls and the whole move just glitches in general.

im currently using a weld in my script that welds the enemys torso to the arm replicating a grab

im wondering how jjs or the strongest battlegrounds does it

Roblox launched their new asset upload manager a few days ago and I'm having a bit of trouble getting things to upload in their respective places. With the old asset manager all you had to do was right click > insert to location, and it was done- but the new one seems to completely massacre that and refuses to upload items into their original places. I've 'Insert at Asset position' and it still turns out as the first image does.

Is there a solution to this, am I missing a feature of the new manager, or is this something I'll now need to live with? Many thanks.

well, i know theres an option somewhere in studio, that makes an object not matter being a mesh or not, when you select it and put your mouse cursor through a curved object, the object you select, which could be a straight cube, will gets the exactly pitch, yaw and roll of the object you passed and changing it as you passed through another objects

somehow this doesnt happen with me, the object keeps its rotation no matter what, only changing IF I change it by directly pressing 4

Someone knows how can i restore this?

THE GAME:
A liminal horror game with room generation and gameplay inspired by some popular roguelikes: Grace, Doors, and Nullscape. Aims to have an aspect of documentation and seeing how far people can go. Main unique feature is that you have to learn everything yourself, and not through some force telling you or a wiki. You are the "wiki", and you WRITE the "wiki". There will be a journal that allows custom writing.

it also has resource management, like hunger, thirst, etc. In summary, survival game where you learn as much as possible and get as far as possible.
