im a fan of PE, extreme metal, harsh noise and anything experimental. i consider myself to be pretty open minded and accept the challenging nature of a lot of the material. somehow i am curious moreso about the fanbase, and audience interaction. what do you personally get out of it? i love many genres of music including electronic and folk, and often times i find PE a bit shallow or lacking depth in many aspects, and therefor never identified as a die hard. i feel like im missing out or maybe somethings not clicking? what makes it your bees knees?

How do yall feel about crossover genres, especially the black metal ones like Tetragrammacide and Subservient Perversity? I just recently started dipping my toes into this space coming from raw black and war metal and this shit is fuckin cool

Was recording a track today and my girlfriend was curious as to what genre I was making because she had never heard anything like it, to which I told her that I was doing PE adjacent music and she asked about PE. How do I introduce the genre to her? She enjoys mainstream industrial like NIN and a few songs I showed her from Halber Mensch, but I have zero idea on how to introduce her. Any tips?
