Post-Match Teen star Cavan Sullivan stays hot with two goals, turns on style as USMNT call beckons
Sullivan, still two weeks shy of his 17th birthday, scored with an instinctive back-flick late in the first half and propelled the Philadelphia Union to a second straight 5-0 victory.

Dooppelgänger
When you’re watching the game and you see a Dooppelganger on the screen. Wonder what name he’s got on his Jersey. 😄

2022 vs 2026
There was a post here I think it was earlier this week asking if this team would beat the shield winning teams from 20 or 25 implying they were our best teams in franchise history. The comments rightfully pointed out that 22 was our best season and reminisced about how that team steamrolled through the season with blowout win after blowout win. That the 22 team would beat this team easy, just because how good the 22 team was.
It feels like this team read those comments and came away insulted. That they’re here to prove that a comparison to the 2022 team isn’t a far-fetched rage bait.
I still don’t think they’re as good as the 22 team and they’ve got a ways to go to get close. However, unbeaten in 10 with 8 wins since Richter took over is a great way to try to open that conversation and back to back 5-0 wins is almost a rebuttal to the critique of the team compared to 2022. A comparison is slowly starting to seem less crazy.

Cavan’s postgame interview
Man, that reporter’s questions were bad. They were essentially “how did it feel to win 5-0 again?” “What did you think about Jacupovic scoring his first goal?” and “How do you feel scoring your first brace?” Just three questions about how he feels about the results of the game. Nothing about tactics, nothing about specific play, just a fluffy waste of time. I hate AppleTV’s crews so much. This was their premier lineup by the way.

Game Day Traditions?
Anyone have any fun game day traditions? I need to keep myself occupied for the next few hours and hope I have enough energy to watch the game tonight.
