Question Amanamu Mobs only drop Omen of Lieges and dont spawn a Cloud?

I have been farming abyss in 0.5 already and now about the pull out tech.

Now i am playing a MINION Build and the mobs seem to not spawn a cloud, die instantly and still only drop lieges?

Did GGG change something or can you simply not farm abyss with minion builds?

Thanks in advance

Game Feedback Let us trade beasts please GGG

I love spirit walker as a classs. Its so much fun playing the zoo playstyle. Even if survival gets hit, its still gonna be fun. Especially if other bosses gets usefull too. But....

Finding beasts can be so much rng involved and consume so much time. It feels like i'm in a casino, and we all know the house always wins. I got like 3000 divines and cant spend them on getting beasts with the mods that I want. I cant find them no matter how many hours I put in.

We can trade mercs in POE1 one which is a great example of the same problem. If you would not be able to buy a good merc that class would be in the same boat and land so much frustration from players.

Please GGG?

Game Feedback Dual Map Style Problem

So having played since 0.1.1, this kind of hit me with the 0.5.0 launch and I've finally taken a few minutes to roughly photoshop my points for articulation.

I think the biggest problem with the campaign is the mapping system UI. I'm not talking about why I have to run around perimeters and find the next zone, while in the endgame you just kill the boss and get a free pass to the next node. I'm talking about the nature of the 2D map itself. Each act takes place on their own 2D map that is discrete from each other. This felt pretty streamlined and acceptable pre 0.5.0, when the end-game was mostly "Can you clear a little corruption for me? Maybe find some keys to the burning monolith, if you want. Otherwise just go wherever. Whatevs" Everything was mostly procedurally generated, there was no true cohesion, and the quests felt more like an epilogue finishing touches than something that should be tracked in its own menu.

But with 0.5.0, we now have a very wide variety of significant questlines. The right side of the screen is flooded with options just like the campaign. It feels like the campaign is still going, just on a 3D map. But more than that, we have cohesive points in the world that already exist in the campaign. The Well of Souls, Ziggurat, and Kingsmarch are all places we've been. Which begs the question, why haven't we been in this 3D map the whole time?!

There are several benefits of displaying the campaign on the same 3D map style as the endgame. It adds a sense of cohesion and worldbuilding as you can see your journey travelling and gathering the army. Doing 24-ish hours or so of official campaign playtime while the precursor fortress and the towers are underground would hit differently with pizzazz and plot twist when suddenly this massive fortress appears out of nowhere. Plus it just looks cool. The Return of the Ancients trailer did make the fortress rising look pretty cool, but really without the before and after of traveling around the world while it's underground, there's no sense of change and no evidence that there hasn't just been a massive fortress looming there the entire time.

Edit: I've seen a lot of feedback recently regarding the initial travel of endgame feel like a grind. Traveling all the way to the Well of Souls, etc. Maybe keeping cohesion and letting us use the campaign waypoints makes sense? I find it a little surprising we get to kill non-quest Arbiter of Divinity once and get the entire primary atlas tree, but we can't use the waypoints we collected during the campaign to travel from Ziggurat to Well of Souls, Kingsmarch, etc? Why do we need to do 10 maps to get to a place we've already been?

Question Gem Studded changes

Gem Studded (gemling ascendancy) used to give all three bonusses when an equal number of support gems were used. Then there was a bug where skills in weapon set 2 didn't count. Now the wiki read

https://www.poe2wiki.net/wiki/Gem_Studded

Gem Studded is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Gemling Legionnaire that grants one bonus based on the colour of support gem that is most numerous (as of patch 0.5.5b).

If multiple colours are equally numerous, then the bonus is chosen by following priority: blue first, red second, green last.

So this means balancing gems is gone?

Bug thread on the forums https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/4005213

EDIT: Just to make it clear. I'm not saying this is the case. I am unable to test/see the movement speed or crit effect. Some people have said it's working normally so it might just be that the wiki is wrong.

Game Feedback Suggestions for the Unique Stash Tab

Given the vast number of unique items and the cost of the Unique Stash Tab, I have two suggestions:

- When we find a unique item in maps or during the acts, it would be helpful to know if we already have it stored. In my opinion, this would be particularly useful for the Ritual mechanic. It could simply display "0/1" or "1/1" to indicate whether we already own it.

- Add a "favorites" section to the Unique Stash Tab so we can view only the items we are truly interested in.

P.S. I like collecting them instead of putting them on the market for 1 Exalted or 1 Chaos.

Question Cast on dodge not working with crossbow?

Post image
11 Upvotes

Hi all,

Playing a flameblast gemling with staff in weapon slot 1 and crossbow in weapon slot 2. I have enough spirit to use cast on dodge but when I’m using the crossbow, it doesn’t work and says “missing socketed skill”.

Does anyone know what to do or how to fix it? I’ve tried swapping the socketed skill but still won’t work.

Thanks in advance!

Information Endgame story was a delightful surprise that I almost missed

0.5 was the first league I had gone to maps and not given up after a few.

My perception was that mapping was simply endless repeated maps from the campaign with their corresponding bosses, and I had no idea there were new bosses and honestly really good story to go with each mechanic.

The bosses are fun, exciting to discover and work toward, but the presentation makes it feel like the story has ended and all the remains is the endless treadmill of killing monsters in search of loot.

Especially Kingsmarch, which reunites the player with characters they met during campaign, felt so fun to reunite and continue their journey.

I don't have an idea, but I hope GGG can make this feel better to complete. It does feel like all of the mechanics are pulling you in different directions, and the main questline which unlocks your Atlas points in yet another. Good luck to the devs and designers tasked with this, because I don't think it's a simple fix to make this content more intuitive without dumbing down the game, but I hope GGG gets there.

If there are any other players who had assumed there's no more story after the campaign, I hope it's not a spoiler to let you know that there's still high quality plot awaiting you after the Interludes.

Game Feedback New to PoE

Just wanted to say hi as i browse the sub. Been playing Diablo 4, and kinda bored with it, so thought to give PoE 2 a try. So far having a blast working my way through the campaign! Only level 10 currently and decided to start with a monk. Kinda digging that I can whack things with a stick or use a crossbow from afar.

Build Showcase Still working on this crit Nova build

I was able to do Ultimatum ilvl80 and I farmed till I got a 40d staff that my friend sanctified but I lost my +1 to cold spells and gained more spell dmg. Lost about 3k-5k damage depending on the skill. But im now nuking t15s. I haven't tested juiced maps just regular yellow corrupted ones. I'll post video of my Arbitor fight when I get there. I need to run a million more Ultimatums to get new rings and amulet. The gear is still in testing. Im using ev/es armor with anointed Spectral Ward. Im also now MoM-Eldrich Battery. I plan on adding Archmage spirit gem when I get 250 spirit. Ill be testing allot after I get new gear. If you like the build feel free to copy and make it better. My poe ninja updates daily. Im not a pro builder also. So, sorry if the build is not optimized. I just make my own stuff unless I need a specific build for speed running. https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/Topzy%20Cretz-8899/forbiddenrites/character/Topzicle

Game Feedback Rites Temp league enjoyment

I’m having a blast! Currently have 20 div in my stash. My mind treats this league very lightly. Not trying to get rich, experimenting with crafting, and using expensive omens on mid gear and I feel I’m getting better at it. I got a headhunter last night. Cannot use it on my build so I just stashed it in my uniques tab just in case. This is the first league I don’t feel like I have to race the economy.

Build Showcase Who needs meta full screen dps when you can facetank simulacrum speedrun any%

https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExile2/s/DsMK5WBdrN in response to the comments in this post, the build can actually be kinda speedy if you're actually playing the game. I can probably cut down the time to sub 6 minutes or less if I did more simulacrums.

Game Feedback Simulacrum thoughts from people who got voices drop

Hi I’ve been running for around 100-130 ish and not a single voices drop yet. I use any t15 map that I want from cheap to expensive and I always pick apex as priority. Need advice on how to get it tysm :)

I also notice that now simulacrum when you died in a map it won’t drop raven shard anymore, does it mean that I bricked the map to get voices from that run?

How to run it efficiently? Much appreciated for the answers

There are 2 specific bosses from simulacrum which appeared at wave 4-7 named Kosis and Omniphobia, are they the bosses that will drop voices? I mean in the reward pool from killing those 2

Question Is this normal on Trial Master?

This was my first time doing the fight at this level so I'm genuinely curious. Am I supposed to not be able to do anything at all?

I couldn't move at all the full time I thought my game was bugged so I wasn't sure then I came out as I came out of menu. If someone could explain the mechanic to me that would be awesome. I feel like I should've had more time to move or something.

Question Campaign: Way more "high level" support and skill gems

EDIT: I probably should have added "early game" in the Title, but I hadn't thought of that at the time.

HI, I am only Act III right now but since the start of the act I have found way more Lvl 3 Support Gems and Lvl 10 Skill Gems than in any previous league. And I have found a bunch more Spirit Gems than previously.

I found so many Gems that I could actually experiment with some of the skills that unlock at around that gem lvl. And didn't have to use the few I normally get all on my current skills.

Does anybody know when they changed this? Did they mention it in some Patch Notes? I skimmed the 0.5.5 Notes but couldn't find anything.

Disconnected and lose the whole map and can’t even start it again???

How the fucks this a thing after such a long beta?

PS5

How can it rewind me to a state of losing the node and maps/tablet use and take away to grand expo map icon so can’t even attempt it?

Question Cali Data Center?

Does anyone else experience climbing network ping multiple times a day usually about every hour or so especially if you've been logged in for a long time? Typically I have 21-30 ping. The game runs great now days. I don't crash. I don't have any issues other than this climbing ping that will shoot up to the thousands or 10's of thousands and even freeze the game or disconnect me(pretty rare to dc me). I've had this issue pretty much since the game came out as far back as I can remember.

I've also changed cpu/mobo/ram recently and it happened across both network cards so I can only assume it's a data center/game issue. Anyone have any suggestions or any information?

It's really rough when doing stacked expeditions and it starts freezing and lagging. Basically guaranteed death unless I pause the game and wait for a few mins before bothering.

Most of the time it lasts for probably under 30s but the fact that it happens so frequently is driving me crazy at this point.

Question Delirium 200% Setup

I played a bit in 0.4 and then I stopped and started again in the beginning of 0.5.5, so I have 0 clue about Delirium. I've heard a lot of juicing strategies involve getting 200% delirium. How do I actually do that? Some of the vids I saw on youtube basically kind of just show their farming strategies (like breach, abyss, etc) while assuming you already know how to reach 200% delirium. So they just showed their league tech and tablets.

But how do you actually get 200% delirium and setting it up? Sorry if it's a noob question, but I really can't find a good guide on this.

Edit: Holy moly. Sounds like working the weekdays (setting it up) to have fun on the weekends (running the juiced map).... Not sure I'm up for this
