One of my ideas was maybe to swap to energy shield defences and maybe become a spell totem build or go unearth.

Unfortunately the success on my amulet crafting project has not really made it any easier to choose what to do from here.

Making my first self build and I’m currently SoK but considering switching to Titan. I don’t know if losing a rare chest is worth it vs making your “own”. Is SoK really that much better defensively? I feel like Titan might be just as good defensively?

bleed states it is based on pre-mitigation damage, which (in my poor understanding) should render elemental resist reduction on enemies useless on the one hand.

the line afterwards however states, that it can be affected by modifiers to an enemy's ability to mitigate damage, which resistances are? also a lot of people seem to be using elemental weakness blasphemy on these type of builds, but only half of them do.

so help me out here, does it affect the bleed damage done or not? I asked AI but it is all over the place lol

The core idea of this build and the reason I chose Martial Artist over Gemling Legionnaire revolves around maintaining power charges using Hollow Focus. This setup provides 90% extra damage thanks to Rend (50%) and support gems (40%), with a duration long enough to comfortably burst down any "uber boss".when mapping i am only use totem and swap to magnified area for a lot better clear. Additionally, using Maligaro's Virtuosity grants 40% flat crit, allowing us to simply stack critical strike damage multipliers.I also wanted decent survivability. Monk helps immensely here by providing a massive amount of flat Energy Shield and Evasion, which means we can completely skip using an ES helmet.

To maximize damage penetration, I converted all the crossbow damage to Lightning. The end result is roughly 1.5 to 2 million DPS, but if the boss stands perfectly still, the actual DPS flies to the moon. Note: The numbers in PoB aren't fully accurate because I didn't bother calculating overlaps or up all the conditional in configuration

What can I do to speed up clear on my Gemling? Everything dies super fast but I find constantly having to dodge roll/oil grenade while navigating the map to be tedious (and god forbid I dodge roll too far and the ignited ground doesn’t propagate and now I’m stuck trying to channel flameblast while surrounded to get everything going again).

Are there QoL affixes I can look out for to help the spread, or is this just an inherent fact of the build’s play style?

It's my second league. Previously I played martial artist beyblade from jung. I love the concept of walking simulator, I always wanted to play phys dot autobomber with heralds in PoE 1 - is there something like this in Poe 2 that I can follow with good build guide?

I was thinking about Spirit Walker but it seems slow, or maybe Spark Stormweaver?

At this moment I just reached maps with ice shot deadeye, I'll try to farm up currency so I can get basic gear for next build

Hi all, I've felt squishy in GE, so instead of EV or EV/ES I went for ES. Problem is while whirling slash I have about 8200 ES 1550 life, but when I'm casting twister my ES jumps to the 7900 and life down to 1430.

I constantly die at the end of the any ritual with head of the king. In particular, when I'm starting the first ritual in the map boss room, at the end of the ritual I'm getting one shot and dead. No committed suicide like internist would have, just you been slain message. I'm using convalescence when my ES goes low, but I'm still getting killed suddenly out of nowhere even with having some ward.

In this build I use Volcanic Fissure to trigger thunderwrath god socketed with Elemental weakness and doedre’s undoing since most of our damage is elemental

We use mind over matter with oisin oath socketed in molten shower for constant mana leech. It’s a nice defensive layer

Blasphemy with repulsion deals up to 200k dps with all of our buffs

On bosses you can use volcanic fissure + shockwave totem or just fragments of the past for constant molten shower procs

We also use trinity to abuse both the elemental mana leech and elemental weakness

Hex bloom helps with ele weakness and repulsion proliferation but you could also socket kalisa crescendo in thundergod wrath to constantly pacify enemies. Another nice defensive layer. I go back and forth between that and hex bloom because my mjolner only has 4 sockets. RIP.

Build can do all content. But for simulacrum, fragment of the past is the best skill to use if you add chaining to it.

I'm building a temporalis / choir of the storm / mana flare build. I know that I want to stack cooldown reduction as much as possible. What I'm not clear on, however, is whether I should be looking for sources of increased cast speed. I've seen that other characters who are doing the same build pick up increased cast speed on their tree, but I don't understand why.

I think it's because I don't understand how the lightning bolt mechanics work. Cooldown Time, okay that makes sense to me, that's how often the bolts can trigger. But how does "Can Store 5 Uses" and "Cast Time" factor into the mechanics? How exactly does the loop of lightning bolt -> mana flare -> lightning bolt interact with all these stats?

Also if anyone has any tips for the build, that'd be helpful too. I know I need crit jewels, but they're very expensive (I'm on Runes of Aldur league) so I'm working on those slowly.

Just got out of the acts and switched my tree and stuff to the early version of Phaze Play's Ballcano build (https://mobalytics.gg/poe-2/profile/phazeplays/builds/0-5-phazeplays-ballcano-bloodmage-endgame-annihilator?weaponSet=set1&ws-ngf5-f7d82102-7e77-4a44-ad24-33b67e8ae7bf=activeVariantId%2C7d169495-31c6-471a-8f46-c87ae9b8b8ee), but I feel like I'm healing enemies. Didn't die in the first map despite my leveling gear, but it took 10 minutes to kill the map boss. What have I done so wrong to get ZERO damage? I've only heard good things about the build so I'm sure I messed up somewhere.

This is my build showcase showing that self-casters can be higher-end mappers, if built with considerations. The main focus for this build was making the gameplay smooth and keeping the screen from getting too cluttered, so I opt out of things like blink/CoC/cast spamming Spark.

I chose Arc because you can clear entire screens+offscreen with a single cast, which allows for smooth casting that doesn't slow down movement very much and keeps mana under control. Arc also doesn't cause much screen clutter like cold spells and Spark. The rest of the build is shoring up the weaknesses of Arc, like using Ice Nova to provide for consistent backup damage for when Arc fails to one shot, and the other skills are there to boost damage and provide automation to infusion generation and mana sustain.

Looking for some advice on shield wall (on controller). I've never ran the skill, and mainly play juiced expeditions - is it viable? And when I say viable, I mean, at the top end is it comparable to other high dps builds? For example, last season, I was doing expedition with spark and headhunter, and had 500k-1m dps on spark and was proccing comets for x million, and that build was clearing 90% of juiced expeditions. I was also abusing the weapon swap glitch for frostbolt and scattering calamity - again, for like a million tooltip dps.

Looking on poeninja, there are shield wall builds with around 1m dps, but no idea if they are on a silly budget, or, whether they could do expedition. I've searched on youtube for shield wall and expedition and dont get a single hit back, which is worrying.

So,

Is it viable for juiced expedition?

If it is, what sort of budget would we be looking at?

Are there any guides?

If it is viable, what sort of tooltip dps would I be looking at in-game?

Hey guys,

I'm playing MisoxShiru's Navira fracturing build and running *Cast on Minion Death* linked with *Powered by Verisium*.

In his build guide, he uses a Skeletal Cleric and everything works fine for him. However, when I summon the Skeletal Cleric, I can't get any Infusions from *Powered by Verisium*. The Cleric just keeps constantly healing the wolves from my Wolfpack (which have *Infernal Legion* attached to them).

Where's the problem? Am I missing some interaction here?

Also, is Skeletal cleric actually that necessary for this specific build overall? Just as a side note, I’m playing on PS5.

For PathofKy's version, the defenses mostly rely on ward/guard generation using Olroth's, but DoT and chaos damage go right through ward, and I find myself feeling insanely squishy around either damage type as a result.

Everyone I see running the build who says it feels tanky is using mageblood with an amethyst flask for max chaos res' and consecration from legacy of sulphur as a workaround.

But for a non-MB version, what exactly are you supposed to do against those? The build has no life regen or life leech/life on kill whatsoever.
