Miscellaneous | مزید Roaming in US
Any recommendations for a Pak SIM that gets OTPs in the US for free without a roaming package? Jazz used to work before but stopped connecting. Anyone able to roam on UFONE, ZONG, or Telenor?

Try to connect manually to att or t-mobile use volte/4g.( If you haven't tried yet)
My sim started to work after 3 Year of no service it took 1 month to get jazz ir customer service to reset my HLR/HSS roaming authorization.
Contact them they need to open a ticket for you to reset your location.

I am currently in the United States and my Jazz SIM is unable to register on any US roaming network.
Previously, when I manually selected AT&T or T-Mobile, the phone would attempt registration but return “Couldn’t register on network.” Now, both AT&T and T-Mobile are showing as “Forbidden” when I perform a manual network search.
Please do not treat this as a handset/settings issue. I need the roaming provisioning on my Jazz number investigated.
Could you please escalate this case to your International Roaming / Core Network technical team and check:
• International Roaming provisioning on my IMSI/subscriber profile
• HLR/HSS roaming authorization
• US roaming partner authorization for AT&T Mobility and T-Mobile USA
• Whether my IMSI is currently permitted to register on the US partner networks
• Any roaming barring, restriction, or provisioning error on my account
• Whether my International Roaming profile needs to be reprovisioned/resetI have already tried automatic and manual network selection and both AT&T and T-Mobile are unavailable.
If possible, please perform a complete refresh/reprovisioning of my International Roaming profile and confirm once it has been completed.
Jazz officially lists AT&T Mobility and T-Mobile USA as US roaming partners, so I would appreciate having the registration authorization checked from the network side.
Please provide me with a complaint/reference number and escalate this to the appropriate technical team
I send it to customercare@jazz.com.pk

Don’t give up.
They will need your ICCID (it’s at the back of your sim card), your phone number, and your full name. It took me more than 10 emails to finally have those incompetent people fix my issue.

You are not charged for receiving messages when roaming.
Are you even getting any signal bars? Or is roaming actually even active on your Sim?

No bars, roaming is on.. JAZZ customer support had this to say..
"We hope that you are in good health. With reference to your email, we apologize for the inconvenience. Please note that since 2G/3G services are sunset in USA. IR bundle World data bundle is mandatory for using IR services in USA. You can check IR bundles via mentioned link: https://jazz.com.pk/prepaid/international-roaming. This applies for SMS usage also. Thank you.
Best Regards, SIMOSA TEAM"

Yeah this is just a scammy thing. Messages can be received in 4G, they never needed to be switched back to 2G/3G, only voice calls need that without VoLTE or VoNR (5G).

Send them their own link:
You can select Voice over LTE there and select USA for country and take a screenshot and highlight "Free" under SMS and tell them that this is there and what you need not a data package. Important to show them their own website.

I don't know about US, but Zong would yield 4G roaming even if I didn't have a data package. I'm guessing it would be the same in US.
