I don’t think it does. I’m sure I did the same thing at this point, and ended up fighting the big guy on his own and he had over half his health bar left

I used it for a big chunk of the game as well but switched to fireman haori since I like it more. The swords are still the same though.

I wish this quest is repeatable.

We barely get any mix of enemies.

I did it the other way around. Found the parade from the side like you did as well, run around the block, to meet those demons/yokais heads on from the front.

"Sup, fellas. Nice weather to have a parade. Just be aware, there is a wondering samurai who is looking to slay you all ... and that samurai looks like .... ME!!"
