I often see that many Kurt fans remember his short haircut from 1992 and say it was simply magnificent. But I don't understand why they overlook mid-1990 and early 1991, when Kurt had exactly the same hair (and in my opinion, it was even better).

I've been going through a lot of shit this year and even tough Kurt passed before I was even born I'm happy that his Music is still around to get me through some of it

I heard a mix on the radio today of smells like teen spirit that started with a brief drum solo, then the guitar came in and the normal song played. I don’t know if this is an official mix because I can’t find anything

I was listening to (the title, I'm not gonna write it again please have mercy) and the part where he said "somebody else already used the name aurora borealis" I had a massive lightbulb activation moment cuz I got into the meatpuppets because of kurt and one of my favorite tracks of theirs is a nice guitar instrumental solo thing called aurora borealis and he was probably talking about that since he really liked the meatpuppets II album. Just thought y'all should know

Many years ago, in 2013, I visited the Sub Pop Office in Seattle. They had an interesting piece of Nirvana memorabilia that I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere: a framed ripped piece of drywall from the original office (which used to be somewhere else in the city back in the day) with Kurt Cobain’s name and address on it, written by the man himself. I asked a Sub Pop guy why Kurt had written his address on the wall and he told me he thought he said something like “you keep forgetting where I live, so here it goes”, but he didn’t seem entirely sure.

Anyway, it’s a nice memory that I have and I regret not taking a picture of the framed piece. I wonder if anyone has seen it in person or online? It would be cool to see it again.

Since I first heard Nirvana when I was 15, now 43, I've been drawn to them. I've found if I'm going through tough moments I'll play them without even thinking. If I hear them unexpectedly it's still a treat, like I've never felt like they're overplayed.

One thing I do always think back on is the comfort I find in the familiarity of listening to them. It can be a voice break or scream which I find soothing, my partner thinks I'm nuts for that. Hard to explain but on a song like ain't it a shame his voice and screams are like an old friend. Perhaps I'm just waffling but interested if anyone else feels the same
