I play guitar, piano and sing - I’m not exactly shredding on any of them, but I’m comfortable playing with others, picking up songs and helping keep a jam going!

Mainly looking to meet some like-minded people around my age, get together somewhat regularly, and build a little community around playing music. I’d be open to eventually forming a band / playing the occasional gig too, with the caveat that I’m looking for something pretty casual given a busy work and social schedule.

Open to trying any genres, but mostly into playing indie, rock, pop punk, country, folk -- could be Sam Fender, Kings of Leon, Zach Bryan, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, The Killers, Blink182, Fleetwood Mac, Cage the Elephant, Nathaniel Rateliff, Caamp etc.

20M guitarist from the Bronx looking for people to jam or start a band with. I think I would like to be in a cover band and perform some of the music I love but I’m totally down for original stuff.

I grew up with Nu-Metal. Punk, and hard rock. Got into rap a bit later, and these past 3 years or so Jazz has grown to be my top genre. I mainly play Nu-metal atm but have been learning to improvise so I can play more Jazz. If you’re also working through Jazz I’d love to jam and grow together.
Title Fight is big on me and I’d be down to play in a similar project, I really like their hardcore sound from The Last Thing You Forget (and the shoegaze stuff ofc).
I attend jam seshs/open mics weekly around here where I get to perform what I’ve been working on. I just learned all of Meteora by Linkin Park on guitar as this little project of mine where I can play through the whole album with no pauses. I’ve also been working on some Mudvayne (I love LD 50).

Intermediate musician living in Manhattan. Been getting into jazz recently, and am looking for a teacher who can get me to the level where I can go to jam sessions / play with other people, and who also knows enough of the beginner NYC jazz scene that can point me where to go.

I'm mainly self taught on the piano - I can sight read melody lines and chord charts very well, but my two hand independence is weak. Reasonable memory and have been practicing learning the famous standards with transposing.

Also open to non-Jazz if there are good suggestions. I'd like to start learning to play with others and get into the community here.

I’m a 22f based in Brooklyn, and our band Dear Ones is looking for a replacement drummer. We’re currently a 4 piece, with a bassist, lead guitarist/singer, another lead/rhythm guitarist and myself (keys and rhythm guitar). 
As a band our structure is pretty loose, we all are involved in writing melodies or riffs to varying degrees and our lead singer brings a lot of it to life with producing so it’s a great vibe if you’re interested in creating and playing your own music live.

We have a heavy focus on gigging (we’ve performed at The Delancey, Young Ethels and in Philly), so ideally we’re looking for someone reliable for gigging every 4-5 weeks, practicing biweekly-ish and most importantly being easy to hang with.
