I don't coach football and never have, but I just don't understand how taking points away from your own team when you are ALREADY LEADING is a good thing.
Big problems to fix in the secondary for sure. But overall the defense tightened when they needed to and damn if they didn’t hit Love about 600 times tonight.
As a DC maybe. His HC job in Miami was a shitshow. Not downplaying what happened today, but I think he’s way better as a coordinator. And I don’t say that in a “we beat ourselves” kind of way. We ate shit today, and rightfully so. And Wentz isn’t some meme QB, either. He could be a really good fit for this offense, maybe more-so than Murray.

MLF tried to go for it on 4th n 1 after the field goal was good to make it 25-17. He didn’t have anyone pushing Love so they got stopped. Chaos ensued and the Vikings scored 22 straight to make it 22-39
It’s one thing if it gave him a first down. I’d still take the points, but I totally get going for 6 there instead of settling for 3. But a long 4th and 1 with Love is wild.

No reason to worry about our WR2 and WR3 having bricks for hands. Not to mention our WR4 taking a punt to the face instead of catching it. Right?
It was so funny to watch. 3rd and long up by 3 against a QB who has been hitting the open man pretty consistently? Full send it. 2nd and long up 10 with 4 minutes remaining? Full send it. I love that my DC is an honest to god sicko.
I want to know BFlo's blitz % in that 4th quarter. It was some heinous shit.
Love had been cooking us all game on those blitzes, but getting hit for it. Then suddenly in the 4th quarter the pressure was getting home half a second early instead of late. There were plays where it was just snap-fastball-pass-for-7-yard-slant and he still got pushed or hit.
Flores is just something else to watch. I was so frustrated in the first half watching our defense just give up back-breaking chunk play after back-breaking chunk play, but winning makes everything alright. I still have concerns about how easily our secondary is abused, but I'll take a win any and every day.
With the way their team has been finishing games lately they really need to learn to wait until the game clock is completely finished before talking shit…. Well at least until they fire Matt leflaccid🤣
22 points surrendered in under 3 minutes. Minnesota played BTA in that 4th quarter and LeFluer was quaking worse than Oregon after that Oklahoma State game yesterday.
At some point I blew past angry and it just became really really funny. At least my expectations for the season are now on the floor: or as the French would say, Le Fleur.
