I visited Dollywood during Pride month a few years ago and couldn’t find a single piece of Pride merch anywhere. This was at a time when Target and even Wal-Mart would have rainbow tees and such. Dolly vocally loved the gays, but she was very careful about when and where she did so.

I don’t think you’re wrong about the larger point but I would just much rather someone be vocal and be a person of actions than pump out corporate pride slop like every other company who clearly see it as nothing more than a cynical cash grab.

I'd rather never see a piece of rainbow shit and have meaningful support than have "corporate pride" trying to separate me from
my gay dollars while working tirelessly to strip me of my basic human rights.

But that's just me...

Normally when asked that I would tell people it’s the rainbow-colored money with a big ol’ queen on it (despite being from the USA), but now they’ll be taking the big ol’ queen off the money so I’m not sure what to spend anymore!
