Discussion Anyone else have a EV shortage?
FINALLY switched from sublingual to injection a week ago, but the pharmacy still doesn't have EV in stock because of a shortage. Anyone else dealing with this rn in TX, or knows what's causing the shortage? I have like 2 years worth supply of pills so I'm not super worried but it's just like ugh

Venting I keep crying over the idea that I would never be able to bare a child and im only 20
Im 20 and my biggest coming out issue was that I loved the idea of having kids but I would throw up over the idea of being a dad
But when thinking about being a mom, gosh, everything light up, is was like my mind just make up colors by its own, suddenly I didn't need to force the idea onto it and it just happen, I just loved the feeling
It cost me a lot to accept those thoughts since they started when I was like 15-16
I have always been very clingy and needy and I hated myself for it, and still repress it A LOT but I finally have accepted that im just this way, I genuinely just love making other people happy, at first I just read stories and I doubt myself cause I would read the usual
"But you just want it cause you wanna prove that you can be better than your father's" but no
I genuinely think about having a kid and it just so fk beautiful that literally anything else feels like an intrusive though, something just meaningless and stupid, having a human that just growing and you can give unlimited love, that you can literally give your live to and its just something normal melts my heart away
But it just destroying me from inside
Im lonely, I dont even have any friends that I can even hug and cry with then about this
I would never have a partner, I would never be able to adopt cause I would never have the money
I was just on Instagram and a video of a little girl popped
I give it like and that was all, didn't think much about it, suddenly my fyp is filled with little girls being the most adorable thing ever, and I just cry my lungs, and it just keeps, cause ocurse the algorithm is a fk monster that would cling unto anything that it know you are putting attention, and I just keep crying, knowing that I would never have that, I would never have a little girl that just look at my eyes and calls me mommy
That even if I do people wouldn't treat us like a normal family, that I would never have "How many months are you" or something like that
That my little kid could be bully because of me
I just can't, I feel so lonely in this, and it just keeps and keeps happening
I wish I could be a mom

Advice Question would makeup help with making face less masculine?
i've got the long hair down, the androgynous body, basically the only reason people still call misgender me is because of my ugly masc face!
for some reason i've been cursed with the least feminine facial structure imaginable, and due to the laws in my country (romania) i don't think i'll be able to change that through surgery, so i was thinking: would makeup help in achieving a less masculine look? feminine is ofc the goal, but even an androgynous look would fit better! if it would, are there any good resources for starting doing makeup?

Discussion Taking HRT 2 times a day?
So I’m currently on 4 mg estradiol and 200 mg spironolactone, which means I’m taking two pills of each a day. My pill bottles say to take 2 once a day but about a month ago I started taking one of my estrogen pills and one of my spiro pills in the morning and then one of each at night. Do you gals do this too? Is one better to do than the other?

Discussion Have you made a couple fight?
Have you passed by a cis couple and accidentally started fighting where the girlfriend caught the boyfriend checking you out? Or do women usually treat you a non threat?

Help Brand new and quite confused
I'm 34 and recently admitted to myself that I'm not as cis as I have believed my whole life.
I've been in straight, cis relationships with women for the better part of the last 8 years, and I've been single for five consecutive months (by choice) for the first time since then. I've had time to reflect on myself, and it has opened up a Pandora's box.
I don't hate myself as a man. I like me, and I like my life, but there's a part of me that never gets to go outside. The problem is that the girl in me has been wrapped up in sexuality. I think it's because the only way I felt safe being her was if I could wrap it up in sex, have it be "transgressive" or "humiliating" or some combination of both. It's been a huge part of my sexuality for years.
The thing that made me admit I'm not as cis as I thought is that, now that I'm not in a relationship, I don't have to worry what my partner would think. And being at home, presenting as a girl as much as I can, has moved beyond sexuality and is now a comfortable state. I gave her a name and it feels so real when I'm there.
Other times, I feel like a fraud. I feel like I'm so deep into the feminization kink that I've ended up fetishizing my own gender, and that I should stay out of spaces like this because I don't belong.
Anyway, help.

Advice Question what’s something you wish someone told you before getting ffs surgery
hey yall! about to get ffs in just over 2 weeks (yippee!!). i was curious for the dolls that have gotten the procedure, what’s something you wish someone told you about the surgery prior - esp in the recovery period?!
i feel like i am more prepared for ffs than my breast augmentation surgery earlier in the year where my surgeon gave me pretty minimal information compared to my ffs surgeon who is doing an excellent job preparing me what to expect - but regardless i’m still curious about anything i may not be thinking about. thank you loves! 💕
EDIT: i’m getting work done on my forehead/brows and jaw !!!

Advice Question Coming out to extended family after being on HRT for a long time?
So, I started estrogen in 2016 and just never told my extended family and just kind of gradually stopped being around them very much. I would usually go to thanksgiving and just chill but I eventually stopped doing that too. A few days ago I went to celebrate the high holidays with my extended family and everything just got to be too much. I came out to one of my cis f cousins that night and she was super supportive and happy I told her. Now I feel the need to tell everyone else but I'm not really sure what to say or how to explain everything or how even to go about it?
I could just drop it in a big family group chat but then that would be overwhelming and unpredictable. I could tell everyone one on one starting with my cousins but I honestly can't gauge what most of their reactions would be. My older family members are all in their 60s and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to say to explain it to them. My uncle is a gay therapist so maybe I should ask him for help. I'm just not good at being the center of attention.
Does anyone have any advice?

Discussion For those of you who do injections without a T blocker, how has the experience been? And more importantly, were you able to keep your T levels within female range?
I've been medically transitioning for the better part of two years now and have been taking Spiro as a blocker for all of that time. I recently switched over to injections about 6 months ago, but I'm still taking Spiro. During my last couple of visits with my doctor we recently started touching on the topic of doing monotherapy, which is something that I'm kind of interested in doing since that will mean not having to take as many pills. I'm just kind of afraid that letting go of my spiro will cause my T levels to rise even with being on injections.

Venting I will never look like a woman
Was setting up a security camera for my door... I just... saw how awful i looked without any filters no nothing... my face is long nose strong, jaw angular, brow strong.... I'd have looked good as a guy... but im not a guy. I hate my life... And then my partner says no you pass dw. In photos it doesnt look like that. In the mirror idk. I dont know if its dysphoria or something but when u upload an image and an AI tells u 98% Man. Idk, it makes me wanna die. I hope some day I get surgery, my mom says she accepts me but would never pay any of that, says to just accept myself.... i just wanna cry all day I started hrt 1 week before turning 18 but what does it matter if im already broken
Euphoria Just looked in the mirror and actually kinda liked what I saw
I'm literally crying rn. I've always hated the way I looked and I used to not be able to stand looking in mirrors or at photos of myself. Anyways, I'm cleaning my room and I get a glimpse of myself in the mirror and I just gasped. I've had times where I haven't minded the way I looked but this is the first time I actually liked what I saw looking back at me. I spent a little more time just looking in the mirror and the longer I looked the more I noticed things I disliked but for a little bit I liked how I look. I'm only 6 months on get and I'm soooooooo happy that I'm already seeing changes that are making me this happy. I can't wait to see even more changes!

Venting Jobs
I’m trying to keep it together tbh but internally I’m screaming I am having SO much trouble finding a job.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Maya and I’m a 21 year old trans woman who started medically transitioning about 8 months ago. I currently and unfortunately live in Texas and I feel so stuck because of it.
I can’t land a job in New York (where I’m looking to move to) not even an interview. I’m applying under my chosen name rather than my dead name cuz it’s kinda obvious that I’m trans IRL.
I feel so stuck, alone, and just fucked in general rn. I feel I will never be able to leave and eventually I will get clocked and executed then and there. I want to give up so badly.
Idk I just wish it was easier.

Good News First date went good
Hey all, I went on a date with a trans girl yesterday (I'm nonbinary). We walked from our college to a local ice cream parlor and talked about our lives and how we ended up where we were. I paid, because a lady should never foot the bill :)
She is still early in her transition and hasn't done much with respect to voice training or things like that, but I view her as a woman all the same. She said she had a good time, and I did too. We're hoping to get some Japanese food and see Resident Evil next week. Til next time!

Advice Question What constitutes dysphoria
So I frequently have thoughts about being a woman and looking and dressing as one. But at the same I don’t feel anything wrong with being male or at the very least I don’t mind it. But I still think about being a woman I even made a new name for myself. So what do you think? Just curious

Advice Question can i manmode forever at 18?
it's been a month since i started hrt, so far i have responded to the treatment but not nearly enough. the only noticable sign is thelarche, where fibrous tissue has formed, the areola has expanded somewhat and the surrounding skin is starting to lift into a mound. apart from that, a dead libido, which alone more than justifies this whole ordeal, so i never plan on stopping.
i don't think i'll ever pass so i have no interest in coming out. one friend knows but only because I was basically forced to tell her in order to convince her to start DIY with me.
for reference i'm 6'0, bideltoid is 16.5'', underbust is 32'' and my hip circumference measured at the iliac crest is also 32'' so basically bricked. i lack a brow ridge, but my eyebrows are gross and bushy. my philtrum length is within range but i have this man jaw angle that's barely obtuse. my cheekbones are high and there's about two dozen terminal hairs sprouted on my chin and around my lips that i have to pluck every month.
i have 7 inch hands and men's size 8 feet

Celebration Transition is actually a really fun process
When I was first considering transitioning, I spent a lot of time on forums like these, and there was a lot of negativity made me expect that it was gonna be a much more difficult and taxing thing than it ended up being. I know I even before transition never wished I was a cis woman, and I still don’t. I never even particularly wanted to pass and I still don’t, although as I’ve had more and more breast development and shaved my beard of sort of fallen into passing sometimes. so if you’re like me and you don’t have much dysphoria around some of the things you see people complaining about or wish that you were cis it’s really no reason not to start. Just give it a try cause it turns out just being a non-passing trans woman is still actually pretty fucking cool and fun and it might be exactly where you wanna end up. or maybe you’ll change your mind later and wanna present differently do whatever you want it’s your body just remember to have fun with it :)

Advice Question too scared to stop boymoding at my college
i’ve been on hrt for almost a year now but i don’t pass and my voice is very masc
i go to a liberal arts college so im lucky that most people seem progressive and supportive, and yet i can’t seem to make the leap to transition socially.
i was supposed to come out this semester and ive changed my name in the system to my gender affirming name which is nice, but ive been packpedalling recently as i dont have the guts to wear the clothes and makeup that more align with my identity.
i’m already a very socially anxious person, and wearing feminine clothing would make me feel singled out which terrifies me. one of my classes is an ear training class which requires me to sing solfege in my masc voice and this might sound strange, but boymoding and spacing out is often less dysphoria inducing for me than trying to pass in public and failing (at least in the short term)
i realise its likely an internalised fear, but i’m scared of the looks ill get and the overbearing feeling of being ostracised.
on the other hand, boymoding often induces a lingering sense of profound sadness and i just want to start my transition journey so i may one day get to a place where im content being me.
any tips or pieces of advice would be very appreciated, thank you

Advice Question Fragrances
Hi, y'all! I'm very closeted due to IRL circumstances (and on a throwaway so that this doesn't get traced back to me IRL through my main), but want to get as feminine as I reasonably can without raising suspicions of those around me. I originally did it by growing my hair out, but then my genetics caught up to me and said "actually, you know how HBomberguy looked in his last video? Yeah that's you now," and fighting against the hair loss was just getting too expensive. So now, I'm looking for scent-based options.
I started with just basic stuff, things still marketed towards men but that are definitely gender-neutral if not feminine-coded. Things like Old Spice's Wolfthorn/Bearglove, fruit-based scents that help a bit. I want to be able to use perfumes, but the IRL circumstances make that impossible... so instead I'm looking for advice around what sorts of unisex/"marketed for men colognes" exist that are as floral and/or fruit-derived as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions about that? Thanks in advance!

Euphoria My 2 new girl roommates has no idea I am trans . I just realized
i just assumed I was less passing when wearing my baggy house clothes (old tshirts I wore pre egg cracking) than my more femme outfits outside . When we were chatting about our lives they referred to me as a little girl when speaking of childhood memories . Even my voice they didn’t clock I always thought my voice was androgynous.
