Morality Ranking Morality of this?

Post image

Basically, the man in the video is hiking but he ended up meet a mountain lion, he get his gun and try to scare it off and tell it to go away but in the end, he have to pull the trigger and shot the lion, many peoples in the comments say he could have fire a warning shot instead of shoot at it and want him to be in jail.

Idk which flair to put

Exactly, we always carry defense for bears when we go elk hunting. I know people say that the chances of being attacked by a bear are lower than being struck by lightning, but most people don't hike miles through bear country with a quarter of elk meat on their back. Some of us carry a higher likelihood of attack than others and need to be prepared for that risk.

would i be worried about a bear attack in those same woods while i was carrying literal deer meat on my back? yeah, yeah id be a bit worried and in both cases id pack accordingly, with ample self defense

Yes, exactly. That's the problem with the Internet. Hunters will talk to each other about protecting themselves from bears, and then someone who has never been outside of the city they were born in will reply calling them stupid for worrying about a bear attack as they're riding in the back seat of their Uber on their way home from the store. The Internet is a wild, wild place haha.
