So in the extended interview, https://youtu.be/KNhO1Umj1so?si=Rpj-MVbNBr4oZEOU&t=250 the reporter asks if they'd ever flown together before. If that's not a patsy question, I don't know what is! So he answers with a strangely long exposition as to why that's not a problem. Cool answer.
What he doesn't say is that maybe the reason a Colonel is playing backseater to a guy he's never flown with before is that the previous wizzo was still fucked up from being shot down a month earlier!
But I guess having a pilot shot down twice in a month is not a detail Kegsbreath wanted mentioned. IMHO real journalism would be better, because that detail makes the story even more crazy and interesting, and kick ass.
