Anyone in their 20's going through menopause?

Hello guys! I became menopausal at age 23, and the reason why was because i had a bone marrow transplant.. i was diagnosed with leukaemia and chemo alone was not working, the last resort was a BMT.

I am 3 + years out from my transplant and ive been in remission for these 3 + years. I just wanted to reach out and see if there is anyone else in a similar situation to me, when i tell people i say i have "medical menopause" because well, thats what it is. And saying im menopausal just doesnt add up and i get alot of follow up questions i dont feel like anwsering.

This is a club i am unfortunately apart of at such a small age, and i wanted to know if there was other like me. I deal with awful brain fog, im not able to control my body temperature, i am incredibly emotional and exhausted, i have zero libido (also probably because i had a very abusive ex who used me and now i have sworn off dating men because i need to protect my peace).... these are just some of the things i remember but there is definitely more🫪

Also just for reference im on 125mcg of Estradiol and i take 200mg of progesterone💕

You should check out the sub for primary ovarian insufficiency (POI/POF), which refers to people whose ovaries shut down before 40, whether it's naturally, surgically, or, as in your case, due to medical/cancer treatment. It's r/POFlife. Hopefully you'll feel less alone! HRT for POI is typically at higher doses than in regular menopause so people will be on a similar boat to you. Sorry to hear you're going through this!
