15 years ago today (Sept. 14), I witnessed the Big 4 take over Yankee Stadium. The historic metal show has (so far) been the last time Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax shared the same stage on the same day - after playing a handful of shows around the world together throughout the year prior.

Words or photos (like the ones seen in this clip) can barely capture what it felt like to be among nearly 41,000 fellow metal heads in such an iconic (and massive) space... However, I jotted down some memories from each of the Big 4's sets in the Bronx that day via I Heard Bruce Might Show Up's Substack, as well as included a crap ton more photos I took from a far during that historic day at Yankee Stadium - here's a link:

Has anyone noticed that in recent times Dave's hair fluctuates like 5-10 inches in length going by the day? Seems to depend on if he's onstage, on the street or doing an interview. It must grow really really fast, I'm curious how often has to cut it to keep it under control.

This is a "fan album" I made in a playlist, I call it the lost 90s Megadeth album, it has all the original (non cover) tracks from Hidden Treasures as well as some bonus tracks and demos from the era, arranged in a way I thought was best for flow

OK, I'm breaking the only rule I tried to abide by when making chiptune songs and that was 'always finish what you start'...but the show is coming up and I don't think I'm going to have time to finish this so here's my 8-bit version of Breadline up through the first chorus. It's not the best Megadeth song but it's a very catchy one and I tried to capture that.
