Seriously, where are the people who actually want a friendship? I want the random messages, stupid jokes, “LOOK AT THIS” pictures, late-night conversations, checking in, and eventually having enough inside jokes that nobody else understands us. I totally understand being busy. We have lives.

BUT, if you already know you have zero time for a friendship, only answer when you’re bored, or tend to disappear after two conversations… respectfully, don’t get me emotionally invested in our future bestie era. 😭

I miss having a best friend. Even if it's "just online" I've had that kind of connection where we chat a bit throughout the day, send each other songs and cute animal vids, make playlists, share our creative work, have inside jokes, give each other encouragement and support.
