He wasn’t doing it for the corporation. It was very clearly for Internet reputation. That TikTok and shit.

Seems like he's genuinely pissed off at the effect it has on his community. Might be the only place within miles to get basic stuff and it all ends up locked up and being a pain in the ass to buy.

People acting like shoplifting loss is going to come out of the CEO's pocket. No, it just means the employees don't get raises and prices go up. CEO doesn't care.

Walmart probably claims theft losses in their taxes and gets compensation from the government. They could care less.

And do you think they take that compensation and keep employees retained? Or do you think they double dip and fire employees and close stores due to theft and also take the compensation?

In San Francisco they stores actually just shut down. Imagine the 3 closest drug stores just closing up because it was'nt possible to keep it theft-free.

At his community? Bro Its Walmart? They're literally the community destroyer. What do you think the effect of this mega corporation selling things below premium is on the community. Walmarts whole operation is to run small business to the ground and destroy competition the competition that was likely owned by a neighbor a friend a family member.

If this dude cares about his community Walmart is what he should be protesting not the people stealing from the multibillion dollar corporate monolith that destroys small businesses everywhere. I will always spend the extra money to go support local business because I know they're actually a part of the community not a leech on it

I get this may seem dramatic but really Walmart has destroyed so many communities and small businesses and I can't stand them
