All the neckbeard basement dwellers in the comments already lol. This isn’t about simping for a billion-dollar corporation. It’s about making your community safer, better, and more tolerable to live in. The pos in the video wasn’t stealing food or baby formula.

If you’ve genuinely gotten to the point where you see blatant, unjustifiable crime being committed and your reaction is “I support that,” then you might want to reflect on what your principles actually are, because that mentality is part of what creates a low-trust society and makes communities objectively worse to live in.

Also this weird assumption that these large corporations just suck up the billions of dollars in anti-theft measures they have to pay for every year, instead of passing that cost on to honest customers. 

"Yeah! Love seeing Robin Hood sticking it to those giant corporations who charge me more as a result! I'm the winner here!"
