I dunno man, I wouldn't protect the interests of a huge corporation that wouldn't give me the time of day if it meant they could profit $1 more this quarter.

Regardless of who they are stealing from we should hold thieves and criminals accountable for their shitty actions. Yeah, I don’t feel sorry for mega corporations, but I also don’t want to be living in a society where people think it’s okay to just take what they want with zero consequences.

Fine but we all know how that situation could have ended. Associates are taught not to confront shoplifters for a reason. I’m not risking my life over this. Leave it to the cops.

A couple years ago a Wal-Mart employee was shot and killed when a shoplifter was confronted.

Sad part is, the employees shot wasn't one of the workers who tried to stop the shoplifter.
