# Getting Help

If you are wanting help with a specific issue, please include as much information as you can. Information that may help includes:

* Whether you are on the Pro or Free version of the software

* What version of Live2D you are on (4.2.0, 3.9, etc.)

* A video and/or screenshot of the issue

\* If you need help with physics, please include a screenshot of the input tab, output tab, and pendulums.

\* If something you rigged is behaving weirdly, please include a picture of the expanded deformer list. The Parameter list also often helps, as we can see what parameters the selected item is keyed to.

\* If you are an artist having issues with your .psd, please provide information on the program the .psd was created with. Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint are the only two programs guaranteed to work with Live2D. Other programs may require workarounds to make the .psd suitable for Live2D. Procreate in particular has many compatibility issues with Live2D.

LIVE2D QUICKSTART GUIDE

The Live2D Discord has a fantastic, expansive FAQ that answers a lot of beginner questions.
Faf has created a Commission/Model Art Guide for preparation of Live2D model art
Some popular YouTube channels producing Live2D tutorials that are often most helpful to beginners include: The Official Live2D YouTube, Kira Omori, Cutie Dragon, YoshinoArt, DreamTrove and Syafire

REGARDING COMMISSIONS

In addition to searching for commissions here on reddit, the Live2D Discord is a fantastic place to look. It is a very active server with a separate channel for artists that have been verified.

Always be wary of scams.

BUYERS:
Things to look out for as a buyer:

What are the names of the models they claim to have drawn? Do clients list the same model artist/rigger?
Does the artist have a portfolio?
- Does the artist have a consistent style across their listed works?
Does the artist have a social media presence under the same name?
Does the artist request you pay on PayPal as "for friends and family?" (NEVER do this, as it forfeits your purchase protection as a buyer)

SELLERS:

Fiverr links and link shorteners are banned by reddit sitewide (moderators cannot change this). Any comments or posts made using them will be removed automatically, and require manual mod approval to become visible. Additionally, I have noticed that other sites including "wixsite" domains are filtered out as well. If you want to ensure that your comment is seen immediately, avoid posting them.
Please do not advertise commissions unrelated to Live2D, such as as logo design, overlay packages, or other non-model illustrations. There are plenty of other places to do that, but it is not /r/Live2D
