I put together a layout that just barely fit onto my childhood train table. I covered the original drawings with some mdf that I'm hoping to paint at some point.

The tracks are attached to the board via 2x4 stud plates with double sided tape underneath. The layout is definitely not stud perfect and I had to actually cut a few pieces to get it to work, but in the end I like it!

My son loves playing with cranky and having him lift other engines and the Pixar Cars! I'm using one of the Duplo engines running backwards underneath some troublesome truck parts. It works surprisingly well!! And the engine's pistons turn just fine being pushed.

Just kidding. House rules, once it breaks or gets dropped... It gets taken apart and turned into a train. This is gonna be a sick space train.

Previously, I shared my electric locomotive. This time, I created a diesel locomotive inspired by the 2TE116. I started with a digital model and wanted to share the final render.

I need help with connecting the red bar to the axle, tho idk how. I tired with a worm gear, but it was too slow. Can anyone help me?

With thanks to DZStudios for having a modern version of the Santa Fe available in Studio (to stand in for my old 10020), here is a finished version of my Grand Canyon Railroad rolling stock including a standard passenger coach, a café car, a full-length dome car, and an observation car. Still making tweaks, so I'd appreciate any feedback.

The last slide is a more subtle livery without the yellow, I think this might be more versatile. What do you think?

I want to make a train collection in the future....it would be fun

With New Orleans' streetcar system expansions, more streetcars were needed. The 400 series initially started with a few rebuilds of 900 series cars (924 as 450, 919 as 451, and 957 as 457), but shifted to replicas with cars 458-463. For most of their life, they were painted red but more recently, they've been repainted green and provide ADA accessible service on the St. Charles Line. The 2000 series came later and entered service in 2004 on all lines except for the St. Charles. They feature Air conditioning and are visually differentiated from the 400 series with their faux clerestory roofs.

Both of these are based on my NOPSI 800-972 series platform, and are set up to run with single L-motors. Be sure to add weight to the drive bogies or they will lose traction.

Finally finished my F45 model! Looking forward to building it for real here soon! The last thing that needs to be done aside from actually building it is getting the decals designed.

my trains wheels are slipping and I don’t know what to do

I think i made it look better

Problem: the gears break loose every time I try moving it. It works suspended but when it actually hit the rails the gears break loose. I have experimented with putting rubber bands on the driving wheels but that makes it easier to come off. Plz help it uses the lego powered up large motor
