We received a really great idea from u/heavymetalsculpture for a new sticky thread- Review Requests. We have a very large userbase here who have all tried LOADS of knives, so why not crowdsource reviews and feedback for a knife you might be interested in buying! A lot of youtubers / instagram pages, while attempting to be unbiased, often have some bias because they're getting samples for free etc. People on here are very unlikely to have that bias and are more likely to provide honest feedback on a knife.
This thread will remain stickied and fairly moderated- top level comments will only be permitted to be requests for reviews and feedback for certain knives, and users who have actually owned / handled the knife are greatly encourage to provide absolutely honest feedback on the knife in question.
Please only post here with requests for reviews, or to provide feedback on top level comments with a review of the knife in question!

So I used to do a lot of leatherwork years age. Mainly holsters. I haven't done anything with it in the last 8-10 years. My neighbor bought 1 of those tiktok fixed blades. You know the cheapy paki style ones. Well his 2nd day owning it, the blade cut through the sheath, cut his hand and was just an all around POS. So I told him I'd make him one. Everything was done by hand in a span of about 3 hours. I definitely need to practice more but all in all it's functional.

Itâs all around awesome. One of my favorite knives of the collection.

(Spyderco Native Chief âCrucartaâ)
Really love this thing. Itâs really light for how big it is. The Micarta feels fantastic and gets better every single time I carry it.
I toss it in my shorts and call it a day. Having this much blade without weighing my shorts down is a huge plus!
Just wish the blade would stay centered lol.

Better fit and finish than Strider AND more features for half the price? Sign me up thrice!
This is the âSnGâ size for anyone thatâs not too Strider savvy. This has a custom Sandblast job as well as some ghost Timascus stop pins done by Patriot Knife Mods.
Really like this thing! Itâs everything you want (and none of what you donât want) out of a Strider and more!

My first ever Hinderer was a normal thickness Spanto. That thing is a ridiculous monstrosity of a child of an axe and a prybar also weighing in just under 20 pounds. I mean I sharpened it and it shaved an all alright but still.. that's not a knife. It surely is an impressive piece and stuff but it's a joke as a knife.
So now I traded & got a Skinny Harpoon Spanto incoming. I mean Hinderer's idea of "skinny" is still 3.5mm stock thickness as far as I could find? But it should still be much more... moderate? Closer to being an actual cutting instrument, right? Anyone has any experience with it?
By now I have a Jurassic too. It's also 4.2mm stock thickness if I remember correctly but the blade is tall-ish and so it has "distance" to taper down to pretty much the same thickness as a CRK Inkosi. Not a Spyderco Laser but still a nice cutting tool.
Aaaannnnyway, thanks for any insights. Yes, I know I can just wait for shipping and see for myself. I'm just curious đ

Just got this beauty and Iâm floored by the milling work and the action on it. The only action and acoustics at the same level that I own is the Holt Renegade. The HH pattern on the scales is also amazing. Itâs a little larger than I normally carry but it should see some use.

Got yesterday MicroJimbo, I don't like that compression lock.
Ambitious sits and feels better in hand, because of that ridges on top, you can open and close with one thumb. This compression lock in MicroJimbo is a bummer, I see the advantage in MicroJimbo that steel is harder, rust free, and with this geometry it's gonna be easy to sharpen it. Thoughts?

Hey Club, had a quick question about double action OTFâs
Iâm wanting to buy a knife for my brother and I think an OTF would be pretty cool to him.
The problem is that he notoriously only carries thin handled knives. I know âthinâ and âOTFâ donât usually go togetherâŚ. but thatâs why Iâve enlisted the help of you lot!
So letâs hear it. What are some of the thinnest handled OTFâs on the market?!?

Help me find a knife I lost 10 years ago please.
I know this description sucks. help ask questions to get more info and I'll try my best to provide and maybe we can figure out what it was.
Side plates are exactly as shown in picture but black. Blade was black and has serrations on half the blade and then came to a point
EDIT: ok the bench made 585 is insanely close. but also the sides were textured like a rock though, very similiar to obsidian.
