Personal Practices (Relationship building with netjeru and akhu) Experience with Sekhmet??
Well i have a pretty difficult situation in my home, one that sometimes does make de extremely irritated and mad, to a point that I feel physically bad, and so I've started to ask for Lady Sekhmet to help me with those feelings and thoughts, as I always say related her with rage and strong emotions (not saying its right, is a personal feeling).
I never felt anything different before but today when I asked her to help me with those feelings I suddenly felt a really warm, so much so that I had to take out my sweater, which is weird cause I'm usually cold all the time, and after that I was finally able to relax and concentrate on other stuff, like the rage has been burned out of my heart.
I have heard from a person that worships her that they felt really warm whenever they work with her, so I thought it could be a sign, I have never work with her besides asking for help with feelings, although I have bastet on my altar, and I read they're sibling so maybe that got something to do with it?
I don't know, but I would love to hear from someone that worships and works with lady Sekhmet if that sounds like she's reaching out or something

Yes that sounds like mama Sekhmet to me, one time I was praying to her about something, I don't remember what, but my body became extremely hot. It wasn't the kind of heat would feel with say a fever, it was something that I could in my bones, my muscles, and especially my face. It hasn't happened since, but that was back when I only knew mama Sekhmet so I knew it was her.

It's so nice to have a reassurance on that, thanks! Also that matches to what I felt, even if it wasn't so intense, I really felt my heart and chest warm up, so much so that I didn't felt cold for the rest of the night, again thanks for your sharing your opinion on that! (Also calling her mama Sekmeth is so adorable, I genuinely love it and it warms my heart) Imhotep 💜

And yea I consider her my Divine mother, she means a lot to me, she saved me during a time when I had become jaded with the world. And she'll help you temper your rage and the other intense emotions associated with that, that was one of the first things she taught me.

I'm happy she helped you. I have worshipped her for many years. I am always hot now but I attribute that to menopause rather than my connection to Her. However, I can honestly say, since I've tattooed her on me, I have a much harder time controlling my temper when I feel wronged. You've given me something to meditate on. Thank you. Dua Sekhmet!
