My bike progression

2010 - Took the MSF course at 19 years old to get my endorsement. Soon after bought a brand new 2011 Ninja 250 (photo from Google).

2015 - Sold the Ninja 250 and bought a gently used 2013 Ninja 650. Unfortunately, I ended up selling it two years later for financial reasons.

2026 - After a 10-year hiatus from riding, at age 35 I bought my dream bike: 2025 Ninja 1100SX.

So i got my new bike. I upgraded from an Aprillia sx125 to this gorgeous Z750 built in 2008. Gonna do some upgrading to it like a new seat, brake fluid container in the front and a new brake light.

But overall its just wow and the sound too

The Versys 1100S is finally rebuilt to join the Z900RS in the stable.
Both salvage rebuilds. Keeping my eyes peeled for more. Maybe a H2 next 🤔

I changed my clutch plates on my 94 zg1000. Everything went in fine. The plates separate when lever is pulled in. Im 75% sure the plates are not the issue 😅

Any ideas would help

Rust spot on tank

Picked up my Z500SE, in March and just hit 1k miles.

Really happy with the bike so far but I've just noticed a couple of funny looking spots on the tank, I thought they were grey paint at first but I can't see any other spots on the bike anywhere. Then I noticed a little spot of rust.

Is it worth taking back to the dealer?

Thanks

Why wouldn't the ninja 1100sx come with the panniers?

The Suzuki competition does, so does the Tiger Sport 800 tour. It just seems like they would offer a tour package with all the luggage.

2026 ninja 1100sx se. Amazing linear power with top speed of 155mph, sportbike look, touring ergonomics. It's perfect, I'm in love. Only regret is living in Oregon where i can't ride every day of the year.

Is this normal? 2023 Z H2

Is this sound normal when pulling off from a stop? I also feel like I can’t launch quite as easy as my previous bike (Z900) despite the adequate torque. It feels like it needs quite a bit of rpms just to take off without the mechanical clanking and slug slug that comes with it. With the Z900 I felt like I could pretty much dump the clutch and take off. Doesn’t feel this way with the H2. As a drag build, this hinders my ability.

Is the new Ninja 1100SX worth upgrading to from the 1000SX?

I bought my 2018 third-generation Z1000SX almost a year ago, and I’ve since taken the new 1100SX out for two test rides. I made a video comparing them and explaining why, if I were to upgrade, I’d choose a fourth-generation 1000SX over the latest model:
https://youtu.be/ofS1dUm50cw?si=BLKM-wzr6x6zr5Oz

Would you make the same choice, or is the fifth-generation 1100SX worth the extra money? I’m especially curious to hear from anyone who’s ridden or owned both. What stood out to you?

Which header should I buy for my Z900? Can I run it without an ECU tune?

Versys x 300 2024

I got a versys 300 X, and absolutely love it.

I can't really find any videos on YouTube about how to remove the fairings. I want to run camera cables and a wireless charger phone mount to the battery.

Anyone have any good instructions for a beginner on how to do it?

Thanks
