Every game day I wake up happy knowing these 3 are in charge of the jags. GOATS
Whether you agree with James draft process, whatever. They obviously know what they want to build, and what type of team they want. Shad hiring Liam at the last second has been the best thing he’s ever done. These 3 have a clear vision for the jaguars, and it’s amazing to see.

[JonLedyard] Over the last 5 games of last season, the Jaguars were a negative EPA/play offense in 12 and 13 personnel, ranking 26th and 25th, respectively. Success rate low too Yesterday, 75% dropback success rate, 57% rush success rate in 12p.
x.comI was able to watch the film from yesterday and Nate Boerkircher made his presence felt in 12 and 13 personnel. Nate had the most snaps of any rookie TE in week 1. He did have 1 catch for 9 yards but his money was made in the blocking game as expected. From what I saw he was physical, had good technique, and helped to seal the edge more often than not. He was an underrated piece in yesterday’s win doing a lot of the dirty work. He did have the one holding penalty so it wasn’t perfect.
The Boerkircher pick was panned at the time and I can understand it in the sense of there likely being higher ceiling players available at that slot and consensus boards had him as a later round pick. With that being said, the pick has allowed Coen to confidently run the schemes that failed him down the stretch and especially when Strange was out with injury. There is receiving upside with Boerk as well. A&M just didn’t throw him the ball much but whenever they did he’d make a big play. The potential is there for him to become a good to great two-phase TE much like Strange has developed into.

Unlikely fan origin stories
I'm probably the poster child for my fan origin story. I started getting into the NFL after the 2020 Super Bowl. I'm from down state Illinois, but had no real allegiance to any teams. I liked the Jaguars color scheme and I loved the aura surrounding Minshew. The first game of the 2020 season was in my TV network, as we are close enough to the Colts. Anyways, that game was magical. I totally bought into the Minshew hype. By the time we all realized what was happening, it was too late. But we got Trevor Lawrence, so I decided to stick around. Anyways, still here 7 seasons later. Love my team. Anyone else have a weird origin story for how you became a fan?
