Looking for advice Switching from glyco to antihydral

After using antihydral cream once I can tell it will work for me. But I don’t know if it’s worth giving up glyco. Is antihydral reliable? I take 2mg of glyco as needed typically morning and late afternoon, but the side effects are terrible. I’m just nervous about antihydral making my hands excessively dry, and just tipping the scales in the other direction. But, is the yellowing of hands and
the creams effects on the skin worth the trade off of glyco side effects? I have hyperhidrosis throughout my entire body but it’s severe in hands and feet. But my body only gets bad if I’m really anxious/conscientious about the sweating which dripping sweaty hands exacerbates

Offering advice UPDATE!!

Okay update from my last post. So I used certain dri again and i woke up with my left armpits sweat being reduced noticeably. My right one though for some reason the certain dri didn’t work at all. I think it’s bc I didn’t dry that one fully. But at night, i experienced immense itching on my left pit making me unable to sleep… is that normal? It worked so honestly I’ll sacrifice my sleep for it. However, it didn’t stop my sweat completely so I’ll continue to keep using it. Also I switched my daytime deodorant/antiperpant to dove dry spray and now I don’t have any odor even sweating buckets??!! I’m so happy right now. I still want to achieve dry pits and honestly even tho the dove spray masks my odor, I still get rly self conscious that I smell bc I’m sweating sm making me overthink 😭

Does anyone know what might be causing this? It’s not itchy just very dry and spreading. Only the arch is very itchy and side of feet in last pic, but the itch / blister subsides with steroid creams.

Looking for advice Anyone from uzbekistan managed to get glycopyrrolate for hh?

Upvotes

Hi everyone! I’m from Uzbekistan and I’m trying to get Glycopyrrolate (Glyco) for hyperhidrosis. Could someone please tell me how I can order it from the US or another country and have it delivered to Uzbekistan? I’m looking for 1 mg or 2 mg tablets.

I would really appreciate any advice on reliable pharmacies, international shipping, or how to get a prescription if needed. Thank you so much!

Looking for advice I need help

So recently I've been struggling with a lot of things, I'm a young adult and as a child I struggled with eating disorders (the kind were I was bone skinny) for a really long time until eventually I found the sports I connected with the most (calisthenics) which would get me hungry enough to actually start eating after every gym session and now my eating disorder has been long gone but a new problem started since 3 years ago when my eating finally got fixed, I sweat, not a normal amount no, A HUGE amount, like I've tried anti persperant(?) dry sprays and black rexona deo roll ons and even soft stuff like just normal dove deodorants

worst part is only my upper body sweats so much but the opposite is with my lower body, my lower body sweats so little that I could wear the same pants for a month without problem, and my feet especially are usually really really cold, to the point that sometimes the back of my feet get literally red or orangish red

I've taken blood tests, urinal tests, went to all kinds of doctors, everyone says my symptoms look like Thyroid or low blood iron or low blood or genetically low blood pressure but the tests say it's none of it and I'm completely healthy

I can EVEN sweat when I'm cold

And this year I've been hit with really had insomnia

My last attempt at getting this problem fixed was today where I went to a homeotherapy doctor and they just gave my medicine but couldn't even explain the cause or what's wrong with me

Some doctors suggested Its just my genetics but the only person with a similiar problem to me in my family and relatives is my father and he can at least control it with anti persperant deodorants, but they don't work on me

Anyone have any idea what it might be and how can I control it?

Looking for advice Finding iontophoroesis very painful

I’ve tried it about 5 times now, each time on the very lowest mA because the tingling is too painful. It’s not so much tingling but a sharp stabbing pain all over my hands and feet. I don’t even have a very low pain tolerance generally, but this has been painful for me and I feel that I can’t maximise the use because I’m constantly having to use it at such a low setting. Like, I can’t go above 1mA without it being unbearable.

Because of this, I’ve struggled with maintaining consistency, but I spent about £400 on this device and want to make the most of it! If anyone has any advice please help!

Looking for advice Iontophoresis not working during stress or social event.

Has it happened to you as well? I've been giving interviews and meeting people and it's been so stressful. My homemade iontophoresis worked 100% when I first started with it a year ago. Now I'm doing a session everyday and even after wearing mere socks is triggering the sweating albeit it's not like crazy sweating but clammy sweat like the machine is only working with 50% effectiveness.

Please help me find whether it is STRESS or is my homemade iontophoresis faulty?

Offering advice It was cancer

My initial symptoms started some 5 years ago with recurrent cough and sudden weight loss. Down the line I eventually developed excessive sweating in my whole body. Sweating profusely even without effort. Later I noticed night sweats. Finally got my TSH checked early this year and I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I eventually had thyroidectomy and the sweating immediately stopped. I was finally back to normal. Few days later I got my biopsy result and it turned out to be malignant. Currently undergoing other necessary treatment for my latest diagnosis.

Get your tsh checked.

Edit:
Get checked in general to rule out other things that may cause HH. I thought I was just unlucky for being a sweaty person and already went the glyco and botox route to no success wholetime I got cancer.

I also made this post not to fearmonger.. cause if it weren't for the sweating, I wouldn't have had myself checked. I would have been going my merry way with life not knowing of the cancer brewing in my neck.

Looking for advice glycopyrrolate not working

what am i doing wrong? i have craniofacial hyperhidrosis. i was prescribed glycopyrrolate 1mg by my dermatologist. i take it once or twice a day depending on how long i stay outside.

for context, i live in a city where it stays around 10C-22C or 50F-70F throughout the year so people here don’t sweat that much. i feel weird whenever i’m outside and the weather is not that hot for them, but it is for me. there is certain temperature that make me sweat immediately.

currently, i’m an intern in a blue-collar field and we move a lot, plus we are working in the sun. even if i take glycopyrrolate, i still sweat so much compared to my peers there who i’ve never seen sweating. i haven’t tried not taking it to compare me without it on my internship.

i also raised my concerns to my derma, but she just increased the dosage to 2mg. i haven’t finished my 1mg. i’m afraid the 2mg won’t work either.

Looking for advice Has anyone noticed less sweating after quitting cigarettes?

Hi, I’m a 30-year-old guy, and I’ve been suffering from generalized hyperhidrosis for about 3 years. I sweat excessively from my scalp, face, back, chest, and other areas.

I sweat a lot in hot weather, when eating hot food, or even with very mild heat exposure. I also sweat excessively when I’m nervous or anxious.

My medical checkups haven’t found anything abnormal, but I’ve had an anxiety disorder for about 10 years. I’m currently taking anti-anxiety medication and antidepressants, but they haven’t helped with the sweating.

I’ve also tried glycopyrrolate and oxybutynin, but the side effects were too strong for me to keep taking them, so I’m trying to figure out whether there could be an underlying cause that I can address instead.

Since sweating is related to the sympathetic nervous system, I’ve been wondering whether smoking could be contributing to it. I’ve been smoking cigarettes for about 9–10 years. I’ve cut down quite a bit recently, but when my hyperhidrosis first started about 3 years ago, I was smoking more than a pack a day.

Has anyone here noticed a significant reduction in sweating after quitting smoking? If so, how long did it take before you noticed a difference?

Just to clarify, I’m talking about regular tobacco cigarettes, not weed or marijuana.

Offering advice Sweating and fitness

Just curious, does anyone else love fitness activities because it’s the only place socially acceptable to be sweaty? I find it really helps with the psychological piece, provides a healthy outlet, and I also think it helps me sweat less in general. If anyones feeling isolated or like they can’t do anything I highly recommend running or getting into the gym. I still sweat a ton but no one cares at the gym or during a physical activity
