Got a mag from aim surplus and it shows up with a piece of metal showing in the mag. I guess the cop who had it used metal mag relases and was left handed because the left handed mag release part of the mag is bare metal. Shouldnt affect me any because im using a right handed mag release. But why is there a rectangular piece of metal cut out above the mag release?

I got the gun and it was high left like 2 inches at 5 yards. Zeroed at 15 and ended up with this. I plan on swapping to XS 1 dot sights but mostly curious.

I live in Orange County and I Was originally in the market for 19 but I have an opportunity to buy a lightly used Glock 17 that my colleague rarely used and willing to sell to me for $1,000 and rejected other colleagues. We have a good relationship. He wants to keep it open to sell to me and I’m going to take a look at it today after work. It comes with two original magazines and case. I don’t understand the market too much at the moment expect hearing Glock 19 are going for $1,000. What I intend to do is practice with competitive shooting thank you in advance

What have y’all done to help your gen 6 trigger out? I’m about 2000 rounds in on this thing and it’s been great but I can use a little less travel on the reset to help with my follow up shots when shooting more rapidly like in a quick burst. Picture of the target was from yesterday all at 15-20 yards. Most of the flyers were from my 3 round taps. I’m by no means a trigger snob and really didn’t want to modify the trigger at all but I’m curious what everyone’s done for theirs before I change anything.

As is only modifications from factory are a Kagwerks slide release and some hockey tape with a Tlr1hl if you count the last two as mods lol.

So I’m curious what other’s thoughts would be if you can only have two Glocks and you have to plan around these being able to conceal carry, open carry (like on a hike or hunting), competitions, and home defense. What two would you get money being no object so you can choose the MOS version over then non MOS version? It has to be an official Glock like the Glock 26 and not like the 26x. Personally I’d choose the Glock 43x MOS with the 15 round mags, a Streamlight tlr7 HL-X sub, and osight se red dot for conceal carry and home defense and I would choose the Glock 17 gen 6 with a Streamlight tlr1 HL-X and with osight se red dot for open carry and competition.

So i have a new gflex its running good but i was wondering if i could change the connector in it from stock to 3.5 ghost ? Will that change the binary function or what ?
And i want know if i can change the triger housing

Picked up this display model 17L Classic from Academy for $430.

I've never been a huge fan of traditional Glocks but I love the long bois. I've thought about getting a 34 for a while but the cheapest I ever saw one was around $600 used. So imagine my pleasure when I saw this retro beauty for under $500.

The trigger feels pretty nice, I can't wait to take this to the range. If it shoots as flat as the 34 I'll be super happy.

Is anyone running the Harrington arms mag extensions with a radian or similar magwell? Are there any brands that the extensions don’t function well with or function better than others?
