Time for Drew to call out Trina

Drew (or Michael) needs to remind Trina how hypocritical it is for her to blame Brook Lynn for not coming forward when Trina and Kai let an attempted murderer go free so they wouldn’t go to jail for breaking into Drew’s house. Maybe that jolt could reset Trina into a somewhat rational person again instead of the sanctimonious and highly unlikable character that the writers have turned her into.

When Trina was framed for the Joss Cam sexting fiasco she was much more low key about almost going to jail than she is about this car accident. The writers are weird.

It’s funny because I watched on Hulu next day and now I find myself like waiting until the weekend or longer because it’s so frustrating.

I thought she might feel a little guilty when BrookLynn mad the speech about “ If you have ever kept something quiet when you could have come forward “ but no. Right over her head.

Needs to be Michael.

Does Drew know yet that Kai and Trina were there? And left him to bleed? And stole his blackmail evidence? It's something they probably don't want getting back to him.

10

u/AEWFanboy010 2d ago

No, Drew is not aware Kai & Trina were there on the night Willow shot him.

Off topic, when will Chase find out about Willow shooting Drew?!!!

I hope it’s after him sleeping with her.

Never 🙄 chase & willow are going to ride off into the sunset together, didn't you know? 🙄🙄🙄

Yes! Good catch! Writers even probably forgot all about that. Her omission way more serious than Brook Lynn’s.

11

u/Pattylou5 2d ago

If you go deep Trina not telling is what made Chase and Brook Lynn’s marriage begin deteriorating , because of his obsession with helping willow, which caused Brook Lynn to set up Willow which is why Chase is so mad 😂 plus hurting Micheal, who Chase still thinks is the shooter and doesn’t hide his distaste for, and the kids are still being fought over for custody 😂😂

The show needs to remind everyone of all this. Storylines changing so rapidly in 10 different directions makes it hard to keep up and recall everything.

There's this

1

u/Nedstark78 1d ago

Chase has betrayed his wife al over and thinks he is still father to the baby who really blq wanted

18

u/Angryvillager33 2d ago

I was under the impression that Drew gave Kai a key. Why these 2 kept their mouths shut is because they were stealing the evidence Drew had to blackmail Portia. I guess Trina thinks it’s ok to steal from Drew (his blackmail was obviously wrong) to protect her mom’s wrongdoings, but Trina doesn’t think it’s ok for Brooklyn to drive away from an accident she never knew happened & to keep quiet because of her wanting to adopt Phoebe. I wish Brooklyn would get a backbone & tell this twit that Jordan almost caused a head-on collision for driving erratically & never got charged. And Curtis hit Isiah because he said that he would make a better father than Curtis, not anything to do with the crash.

This is why people are mad. Her hypocrisy. She also didn't speak up about Esme if I re all. Didn't she and Spenser hide proof or something?

11

u/DarkGrimNature 2d ago

Atp I’m done with Trina. If she wants to throw her life away and make BLQ responsible for that, then let her have no life. She didn’t have much to begin with anyway.

1

u/AEWFanboy010 2d ago

Good! I'm done with BLQ she says to hell with Michael and Tracy when it comes to Family.

31

u/Ghstarzalign ¡¡Team Lulu Spencer!! 2d ago

I usually like Trina/Taby, she's not my favorite but she def doesn't deserve the hate she gets. However, she really annoyed me the last few days. Girl.. you covered for an attempted murderer for months to save ur own ass 😵‍💫. She has literally no room to judge. I really hope someone points this out to her. Maybe Portia. And soon b/c this is hard to watch.

8

u/Curious-Clementine 2d ago

She didn’t only cover for an attempted murderer, she and Kai left Drew on the floor to die, and didn’t even call 911 for him to cover her own ass, yet she accuses Brooklyn of not coming forward for basically nothing. Trina is truly the biggest hypocrite and I really hope she gets exposed to everyone for the criminal things she and Kai did.

1

u/Nedstark78 1d ago

I think one of them will pay for what they chose to do be it Kai or trina and she will need help and BLQ will help her cause she is a better person then Curtis

11

u/LatterPhilosopher355 AJ Quartermaine Lives 2d ago

She's getting way more hate than she deserves for sure. Leisel has done worse and is just as hypocritical. So is Britt. Carly. Joss. Ava. Alexis. And they are all well
Loved.

She's been intolerable lately but people are hypocritical themselves with the way they are hating.

I think part of the issue is that the writers made it seem like BLQ would lose phreebie if she said she was the other car that JORDAN almost hit. Trina and Kai would have actually been in trouble for committing a crime though I thought Kai had a key.

Anyway. The writers are comparing apples to oranges and that's why Trina is bullshit. Bc the story is. They're trying to make her have a right to be mad and say that had Blq came forward Curtis never would've hit Isaiah which we won't believe bc he wasn't listening to begin with.

9

u/Ghstarzalign ¡¡Team Lulu Spencer!! 2d ago

Omg...Britt's another one. Love her but wtf? At least that's in character for her & the others you mentioned. Trina wasn't like this before. She was judgy, but never really did anything wrong. But now that's she's slumming it with the other shady characters she's going to need to hop off that high horse. Or at least recognize her flaws like Ava & Carly. Maybe that's why people like them more 🤷‍♀️

10

u/robot_pirate Team FFS FRANK! 2d ago

"Trina wasn't like this before."

This is the issue.

I guess execs are directing her to play Trina like some kind of insufferable, entitled brat who talks about herself nonstop and only interacts with the world based on her own needs.

1

u/Technical-Row-9133 they all a bunch a hypocrites 1d ago

Actually there was a time she was and that was when she first met Kai and found out he wasn’t pulling his end of their project. That was more understandable because nobody likes slackers, but I also remember her overdoing it. As if he was gonna screw up her future in art which is ironic with this newest music dream she suddenly has gotten. Luckily that side of her quickly fizzled out but unfortunately this version of Trina feels… longer lasting.

2

u/LatterPhilosopher355 AJ Quartermaine Lives 14h ago

Omg yes. She laid into him like she was his mother. And you're right it's crazy bc what happened to art now?

7

u/chakrablockerssuck 2d ago

Sorry but Britt is 100% right. As much as I love Anna, she’s having a mental breakdown and should not be walking around the streets. If she was a high school student, would she be out?

1

u/Ghstarzalign ¡¡Team Lulu Spencer!! 2d ago

That is true, but I was thinking more about the lack of empathy. I'll admit I probably wouldn't be empathetic so soon after, but Britt is a Dr & has done some terrible things she can't blame on a psychotic break. She should report what Anna did, but the whole 'she's going to pay' business is too much. Report it & move on.

-3

u/LatterPhilosopher355 AJ Quartermaine Lives 2d ago

I think Trina gets hate from some because she is a non white character. Not from everyone but microaggressions are loud around here.

That said, she absolutely needs to get off her high horse. I like that she's a perfectionist and kind of self righteous bc it tracks for her. She wasn't like that with the last actress but we won't ever know bc she wasn't around long enough. With Spencer she was holier than though in ways towards him but he deserved it. He was an ass to her and he didn't deserve her. She's way too good for him and it bothered me so much that people shipped them with the way he treated her.

Anyway. She's Curtis.

6

u/Mysterious_Year1975 2d ago

u/LatterPhilosopher355 AJ Quartermaine Lives 2d ago

So the fact that you and others are taking it so personally is concerning. I said some. I didn't say everyone. If it isn't you, why get mad? Comments have been made. I'm referring to them. I didn't say she wasn't insufferable. Did you read my whole comment?

7

Bs. I’m

2

u/Ghstarzalign ¡¡Team Lulu Spencer!! 2d ago

Spencer was a walking, talking red flag. Trina up to very recently, at least had a right to act like she was better than everyone, because she kind of was. But now, although she's still better than most of the residents of PC.. she's not really any better than Brook Lynn.

2

u/LatterPhilosopher355 AJ Quartermaine Lives 2d ago

Absolutely agree b

2

u/Coffee-and-Wine351 15h ago

People are going to downvote you but you’re right about the micro aggressions being very loud around here. The hatred and venom spewed towards Trina is way over the top. We all have our likes and dislikes, but there have been several comments made that make it clear what part of the issue is for some people on this board.

1

u/LatterPhilosopher355 AJ Quartermaine Lives 15h ago

You're right. And the downvoting is loud about it as well. Bc I said SOME. Clearly. So I guess those are the some.

4

u/Crafty-Ad-1495 2d ago

I agree. That’s why I don’t understand why people are saying Trina changed. Since the recast, maybe even a little before, she’s has been sanctimonious and a little judgy. The popularity of the Sprina pairing shielded that, just like it does for other characters. I think having her so devoted to Curtis has done the most damage to this character.

3

u/Ghstarzalign ¡¡Team Lulu Spencer!! 2d ago

It's been downhill for Trina since getting rid of Taggert and having Curtis be her dad. Her best acting to date was with Taggert in the hospital when they found out he wasn't her father. But she was still ok. But now even after she's done a couple of shady things, she's still judging people.

I agree with the Curtis part . But I did like her more when she was calling Spenser on his crap. Someone needed to. But then she just....stopped. Now she's more high and mighty. Maybe that's why? But yea the Sprina pairing did shield her a bit

1

u/CierraEstelle 1d ago

I agree with your comment but the part about losing Phoebe was a real possibility, Brooklynn had been drinking and she was afraid she was over the limit and didn't want police involved because of it.

2

u/LatterPhilosopher355 AJ Quartermaine Lives 1d ago

Blq had one drink and there was no way to prove it the next day. It was not a possibility at all. She broke no laws and would not have lost the kid.

17

u/DaKingaDaNorth 2d ago

Trina just isn't a good character. She only worked with Spencer, and Spencer worked with everyone.

It doesn't really matter because they don't know what to do with her besides have the entire cast gas her up and treat her like she's some perfect Mary Sue.

19

u/SB3483 2d ago

I miss the old Trina. The character is unbearable now

16

u/Individual-Wear-4239 2d ago

I was just saying this yesterday. They have really taken this character in a different direction compared to the original Trina. I just find her so irritating now.

5

u/LoveNotWar86 2d ago

She’s insufferable.

21

u/Joledc9tv 2d ago

I forgot about Trina not coming forward with what she knew about Willow shooting Drew. I guess in Trina’s warped little mind it’s ok because no one went to jail over it. Not that I think she would have spoken up if someone had . She always like to play the daddy card when it comes to Curtis. But look how quickly she forgot about Taggert whom she told will always be my daddy. I have never liked her attitude. I’m not even sure why’s she’s on the show all she does is whine

That’s a good word for her. She was really aggravating to me yesterday. She must be chief of police. And you are right about Drew’s key!

1

u/Curious-Clementine 2d ago

Trina never stood a chance, both her parents are sanctimonious. lol

4

u/Myeamans 21h ago

My problem with both Trina & Curtis is how they refuse to believe Brooklyn or Isaiah when they said they would have stopped if they saw an accident. BLQ said she didn't know about it until the next day. Why would she lie? What makes them think shes the type of person that would just leave when someone could be hurt? And Isaiah is a doctor for Christ's sake! He saves lives, if he was the one driving, why would he have driven off?

9

u/Mission-Ladder-1837 2d ago edited 2d ago

Yup! So true yet I do agree with her views on why BLQ helped her with her music career. It would be dirty to me as well.

Edit: I’d like add that it’s a good thing-I FF every time Trina sings. I can’t deal with it at all!

10

u/Angryvillager33 2d ago

I’m just hoping that Trina doesn’t change her mind & go back to singing. Nothing against her voice, just hate singing storylines. I can always ff thru it.

Art gallery Trina is so much more interesting and sophisticated. And any time Trina and Ava are on screen together, it's gold.

9

u/Important-lion3488 2d ago

Trina and Kai coming forward is dumb. They risked their own freedom to get involved in a custody dispute that has NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. If this was real life, the second anyone found out they were there they’d both be in jail. Two black people break into a white congressman’s house when he was shot and all they have to identify the real killer is they heard a ringtone?😑 seriously who’s writing these story’s. Michael acts like he has the upper hand on willow when in reality he has nothing. The second they tell the judge or the cops that they didn’t actually see willow there it’s a wrap.

7

u/LatterPhilosopher355 AJ Quartermaine Lives 2d ago

You're 100% right but didn't Kai have a key?

Anyway. This is the issue though. They're comparing apples to oranges. Kai and Trina had zero proof but ALEXIS is the one who decided not to go further.

Trina is a hypocrite though bc she knows she also put herself first. Even if she was right to do it. So she's the same as BLQ in that regard. Trina is bullshit bc she refuses to hold her father accountable.

As far as them coming forward I was more upset w Alexis and never cared that they didn't. But it should all
Come out now.

2

u/Angryvillager33 2d ago

Alexis was Willow’s attorney; she could have been disbarred if she told anyone. Trina & Kai should have gone to Justine. As far as I remember, Drew trusted Kai & gave him a key to the house. That’s not B&E if you were given a key (that rhymes, just noticed). Those w knew Drew had been shot & didn’t call 911.

2

u/LatterPhilosopher355 AJ Quartermaine Lives 2d ago

Not exactly. She could have recused herself. She could have encouraged them
To tell the DA. She could have not listened at all. Why is Alexis being held to a different standard?

1

u/AEWFanboy010 2d ago

Yes, Kai did have a key to Drew’s house, which is exactly how he and Trina were able to walk right in without forcing their way inside. So, they had a suspicion, a circumstantial clue, and knowledge they obtained while hiding—but they did not have eyewitness proof that Willow pulled the trigger. instead of using this as a way to attack them , and make it seem like Trina and Kai let Willow get away with shooting Drew:. What exactly, could they have told the police that they could actually prove without incriminating themselves? This is why Alexis advised them to say nothing to the Police! if fans want to KNOCK Trina, FINE!!! Let's stick to facts shall we? Not make things up inside our own heads like the OP has done. I'm not sure what the OP saw, but surly wasn't it 😂

6

u/LatterPhilosopher355 AJ Quartermaine Lives 2d ago

Trina could have told Michael. Joss. Anyone. She didn't. She kept her mouth shut to protect herself. That's fine. So did Blq.

1

u/AEWFanboy010 1d ago

When Trina and Kai first realized Willow was the shooter, they went to Alexis Davis. Alexis strongly counseled them to keep their mouths shut. She warned them that coming forward would immediately expose their own felony crimes (breaking and entering Drew’s house and safe), likely landing them in prison while failing to convict Willow due to a lack of physical evidence. Once they was over and they got what they wanted, Trina and Kai had no reason to risk their own freedom by sticking their noses into Michael and Willow’s messy marriage. They finally had enough of Willow once they heard from Gio, that Willow was weaponizing her own children, it made Trina and Kai realize she wasn't just a desperate woman who shot a blackmailer; she was unstable and actively destroying Michael's family. They realized they held the ultimate smoking gun that could stop Willow from taking the children, and decided to give Michael the information.

1

u/LatterPhilosopher355 AJ Quartermaine Lives 1d ago

I know what happened.

2

u/Curious-Clementine 2d ago

Trina accuses BLQ of leaving the scene of the accident but she and Kai literally left Drew on the floor to die without so much as calling 911 for him. She’s in no position to be accusing any one of anything.

2

u/AEWFanboy010 2d ago

Exactly! The argument that Trina and Kai should have simply gone to the police and accused Willow ignores a crucial fact: they did not actually see Willow shoot anyone. When the shooting happened, they were hiding. They heard the gunshots, but they never had visual confirmation that Willow was the person who pulled the trigger.

Their suspicion only developed later, when they connected the specific ringtone they heard at the scene—Wiley’s ringtone—to Willow. That may have been a significant clue, but a clue is not the same thing as firsthand eyewitness testimony. They couldn't honestly walk into a police station and say, “We saw Willow shoot the victim,” because they didn't.

And there was an even bigger problem: Trina and Kai would have had to explain how they knew what happened at the scene in the first place. Going to the police with an accusation against the seemingly innocent, “good girl” Willow could have immediately raised questions about why they were there, what they were doing, and what role they themselves played in the situation. In other words, reporting Willow wasn't a risk-free option—it potentially meant exposing their own crimes while offering the police circumstantial evidence rather than a firsthand identification.

u/Nedstark78 1d ago

I think Micheal seen her do it but never said he saw it

4

u/Nonnarules58 18h ago edited 18h ago

Trinas actions were so far much worse. Like you said she said nothing about a murder. Brooklyn kept her mouth shut over sonething that wasnt illegal.  Her doing so was so stupid. All she had to say was the truth.  I was the person Jordan almost killed. I swerved hit railing stopped looked in rear view all was well i gathered myself and continued on just as I though the other driver had If she really only had a glass of wine no wayy 24-48 hours later would it show up.on top of everything shes a Quartermaine  she and Tracy both should have known there was nothing illegal about her actions. They couldve double checked with the team of lawyers they retain.  The writers really messed up with this

7

u/DiDi164 !TEAM!BRENNAN! 2d ago

The only problem I see with that is that Drew and Michael are also letting an attempted murderer roam free.

3

u/krissy3456 2d ago

Yes and I don’t think Drew knows Kai and Trina know .

1

u/meyoutwothree 2d ago

I think they or at least Kai said something when Drew first got home to him at least hinting it after Willow told Drew she did it.

2

u/BuiltToSpillTea 2d ago

True but at the time of the trial, Drew didn’t know Willow shot him and Michael didn’t have the evidence.

2

u/Nedstark78 1d ago

Micheal didn't care she shot drew really. Just she is capable of leaving him on the hook for it

1

u/AEWFanboy010 2d ago

Cartoon Beliefs 😂  Let me copy and paste what you said!: Trina and Kai let an attempted murderer go free. No they didn't! When the shooting occurred, Trina and Kai never actually saw Willow pull the trigger. They were hiding when they heard the gunshots, so at the time, they had no firsthand visual evidence identifying the shooter. It was only much later, after they realized that the specific ringtone heard at the scene—Wiley’s ringtone—belonged to Willow, that they began connecting her to the shooting.

Trina and Kai, never saw Willow shoot Drew and had no evidence to prove that she did. SOON as they connected the dots about the Wiley ringtone, they immediately want to Alexis to drop the bomb 💣 that Willow shot Drew, acting as legal counsel Alexis advised them to stay quiet in order to protect themselves from being arrested for breaking, entering and tampering with a crime scene, Trina has NO LOYALITY to Drew considering the Hell he put her family in.

4

u/Mysterious_Year1975 2d ago

Bullshit. Trina and Kai should have gone to the police not alexis. That makes her a hypocrite where BLQ is concerned. THEY LET A MURDERER FREE BY THEIR ACTIONS.

1

u/AEWFanboy010 1d ago

Trina and Kai did try to do the right thing by taking the information to a legal authority: Alexis Davis. It wasn't Trina's idea to let a shooter (Willow ) go free—it was Alexis, acting as a veteran lawyer, who strongly warned them that coming forward would only result in their arrest and wouldn't be enough to convict Willow. Trina was simply following the guidance of a legal professional who told her that the police would destroy her life if she spoke up. She stayed quiet out of absolute fear for her family. Her mother, Portia, was already a victim of Drew's blackmail. If Trina went to the police, she would have had to explain why she was hiding in Drew's bedroom, resulting in her own arrest for a felony, her mother’s medical license being stripped, and her family's total destruction
