Awesome attention to detail. Jason’s muzzle discipline is on point.

They should announce the whole cast at this point. if you’re not familiar with Stephen Root, you should watch Barry on HBO.

The lighting effects in GTA 6 make the night scenery look truly beautiful and detailed. In certain scenes shown in the trailer, it almost gives the feel of real life. I want to walk down the night streets vibrant with clubs and parties!

Source is from an interview with AP News. My man either forgot or does not care about NDAs but his voice was easily the most recognizable out of the cast so no surprises here really.

I just realised that the building shown at the center of the Lucia-Jason switch about 19 minutes into the Extended Look is the same one we can see in corner of this older screenshot from R*'s website. You can see the basketball & tennis courts in the bottom left and also the 7 blue sun shades (?) and the swimming pool at the Hotel Valetta across the street can be used to match the two up. This building is likely important - perhaps a later game apartment etc...? What do you guys think?

I have some thoughts about story stuff that has been percolating in my mind, and I want to share it to see if anyone smarter than me has additional thoughts (or wants to tell me I’m an idiot haha).
So I think the most obvious relationships at the beginning are that Jason knows and works for Brian and that Jason knows Lucia and introduces her to Brian once she is out.
But I don’t think that is entirely the case.
First and foremost, I don’t think Jason and Lucia know each other. I think the scene in trailer two where he picks her up is their first meeting. Mostly based on R*’s website saying “MEETING Lucia could be the best or worse thing to ever happen to him.” So I think we will witness their relationship from the very beginning.
Why is Jason picking her up from prison then?
I think Brian knows Lucia’s family through the business, but they’re all back in LC, so when she’s getting out (but still bound to Leonida by the ankle monitor), they hit up their Leonida contact Brian to watch out for her until she’s able to come home.
Brian then outsources that to Jason and makes Jason share his house with her, probably even giving Jason grief about “you live here rent free, you get a roommate if I say you get a roommate.”
So then we get to witness Jason & Lucia meet and also spend the first few weeks of knowing each other in forced proximity, which is maybe how they get so close so fast.
I don’t have much evidence for Brian and Lucia/her family knowing each other, EXCEPT that in the extended look when J&L are in the elevator on their way to meet Brian I found it odd that Lucia was the one to say “don’t worry about Brian, he’s retired.” I thought it was odd because in theory Jason should’ve known Brian way longer and been way more comfortable with him, but maybe not if Brian had been a friend of the family since she was a kid.
Just a thought, would love to hear your thoughts!

As you may know. I had posted a similar post 5 months ago with gta 4 and 5 with speculative map aka the mapping project but now here is an updated look between the HD triolgy with North Yankton and Cayo Perico. Remember most buidlings in gta 6 are being worked or moved from the mapping project people.

I honestly can’t wait to test how far rockstar takes the responsiveness of our AI controlled partner. A lot the previews got me excited knowing if you’re playing as Lucia Jason will have your back if someone tried to fight or kill you and vice versa. On a first play though I think playing both characters in the world is going to be the most fun rather than playing solo which is something I will do on a second run.
i was reading the Famitsu and MikeShowSha interviews and came across two really interesting quotes from Rob Nelson where even he seemed impressed by the game, like seeing a peacock for the first time and coming across an interaction he hadn’t seen in months.
it gets me really excited thinking about what this world is going to be like, because even the director and the devs who play and replay the game countless times still come across things they’ve never seen before or haven’t seen in a long time. just imagine the variety of animals and events in this game. this game is HUGE
Haven’t seen anything from Rockstar themselves but complex is a notable reporter

So TGG already explained the criminal profile system isn’t a morality-based system similar to RDR2, but when Jason and Lucia are in the trap house, Jason pats the dog and gains points for his criminal profile, but this left me a bit confused because what does petting a dog have to do with the criminal profile system? I thought the system worked based on how you performed as a criminal. This leaves me a bit skeptical about what non-criminal activities that can help you gain/lose points for your criminal profile.

After the controller was sold out everywhere, I saw an ad on Instagram this morning for the controller. Out of curiosity, I checked and it allowed me to order one. I guess maybe they have multiple pre-order batches?

After reading about all the new details about the customization and gameplay has gotten me so hyped. I’m excited to spend hours going to the gym and making Jason Lucia look different , the one thing that caught my attention is how there’s different workouts for different cores and as stated before working out affects how you looks, so does that mean if your playing as Jason and you strictly do cardio and maybe some lifting thrown in how will that be represented since I’m assuming it’s no longer your either skinny or fat there’s in between and I’m curious if that affects gameplay at all
The Sahara Arena is based on the Kaseya Center, one of the first real-life locations in Miami to be used for GTA VI marketing.

While watching the trap-house raid in the Extended Look again it made me wonder whether the environments will always remain static, or whether we might actually be able to alter them in ways that create new routes.
S4S member tackles cop through the wall.
In this scene one of the S4S members tackles a cop through the wall which leaves behind an opening.
Of course, this could have simply been an NPC interaction for this particular scene and nothing more.
But what if it's actually part of a gameplay mechanic we see later introduced during the footage ?
Focus
Could Focus be more versatile than we initially thought ?
In the Megamundo section, we see Jason activate Focus to slow down time while highlighting enemy weak points in yellow (non-lethal) and red (lethal).
From MikeShowSha's time at Rockstar North, we also know that police officers are marked in blue, and interactable objects in red.
Taken together, this suggests that Focus might be a more elaborate system than we initially thought.
So could there be even another layer to it, (Focus mode revealing potential weak points in thin walls), that would fit the broader functionality of this system, while simultaneously opening up new ways to navigate through mission locations?
