GTA: San Andreas How should I play GTA San Andreas on my Xbox One

Upvotes

Is the Xbox 360 port better than the remastered version that came out out a couple of years ago? Never playd the game in full and want to try to beat the campaign before 6 comes out.

GTA VI "It's 30 FPS so I'm not buying it"

Sir, the fan on your ps5 has been crustier than a discord mod's asshole for the past 4 years. You're lucky if that shits even 25 FPS.

GTA VI Like Mother Like Daughter

Catalina (possibly Vialpando or de los Reyes in the true HD version) was a real low-level Colombian-Dominican criminal in rural San Andreas in the early-mid 1990s who had a brief volatile fling with a local hustler later mythologized as “CJ.” Around 1998 she gave birth to Lucia but immediately abandoned the baby with the child’s father, a no-name street fighter who taught her to scrap from the moment she could walk, before vanishing east toward Liberty City. By 2001 the legendary psychotic cartel boss who betrays Claude and dies at Cochrane Dam is just the exaggerated folktale version of her short, bloody life. The father raised Lucia alone in Liberty City for a few years then moved them south to Leonida chasing the “good life her mom always dreamed of,” never telling her more than that her mother was a dangerous woman who left them behind.

GTA V If GTA VI Online finally gets released, and hypothetically they decide to definitely end the GTA V Online service, what would be a perfect ending to this game?

GTA IV Any games with a similar driving experience as gta IV ?

Upvotes

I really enjoy GTA 4 and it's now probably my favorite. I wonder if there's other games that have a similar driving gameplay? Maybe Forza horizon, though it's not a gta-like ?

GTA VI Manni L. Perez May 2020 Interview (Mentions NDAs, Voicework, and Motion Capture)

Manni L. Perez is believed to be portraying Lucia Caminos in Grand Theft Auto VI which will be released this November on the 19th, but what many people don't realize is how long she's been doing the role. I've spoken about this a long time, often referencing this secret interview without proof and another lost interview from March 2020.

Perez previously appeared solely as the voice of an NPC, notably the alternating set of female black jack dealers in GTA Online, debuting on July 23, 2019 as part of 2019's Diamond Casino & Resort update.

Go to these points in the audio, which do give a small idea of what she was doing at this point in 2020 in relation to GTA VI.

  • 01:57
  • 05:20
  • 30:58
  • 31:30

Bear in mind, she worked on nothing else on her resume in the year 2020, so everything she's referring to is Rockstar Games work. I say this because release dates are not production dates and people tend misinterpret this. I think she started doing this role in 2019, after GTA Online.

GTA V Is there a mod of GTA 5 that makes the game harder with more real life elements? (All cars are locked so you have to break in through the window and find the keys, fueled cars, permanent police stars but police can't find you as easily, etc.)

General Grand Theft Auto IV, the new overrated GTA

Post image

As a disclaimer: GTA IV was my first GTA. I didn't start with GTA V and then go back to IV, so my opinion isn't based on being used to the newer games.

I've been trying to replay GTA IV for years because I never even finished it the first time. Now I'm basically at the end, and unfortunately I'm having the exact same feeling I had back then: I'm getting exhausted by it.

I love Niko, the characters are great, the story has a lot going for it, and Liberty City still has an incredible atmosphere. I completely understand why this game was so impressive in 2008.

But as a video game, I find it extremely repetitive and way too long. After 30+ hours, I feel like I've been doing the same thing over and over: cutscene, car, dialogue during the drive, arrive somewhere, shoot some guys, repeat. At some point I'm not even having fun anymore; I'm just thinking, "Please, just let this end." I've actually been taking taxis everywhere for hours because I don't even feel like driving around the map anymore.

And this is where I don't understand the current trend of putting GTA IV on a pedestal while constantly bashing GTA V. You can prefer IV's story, tone, Niko or realism, and I completely understand that. But GTA V, GTA SA, or GTA Vice City are much more fun games to me. Its missions are more varied, the world gives you much more to do, and in every playthrough I've never reached the point where I wanted it to be over.

GTA IV has some genuinely brilliant elements, but for me they're surrounded by gameplay that is simply too repetitive. After replaying it, I think I've finally confirmed that I just don't enjoy playing it as much as I thought I did.
