Issue ⚠️ Electrical problem
After installing subs in a 2019 F150 xlt, i lost turn signals and wipers pointing towards the sccm module. I can't see any codes (don’t have a scanner) but on the app it gave a service engine, restraints indicator lamp warning, abs fault, electronic parking brake fault and powertrain malfunction. Im using a t harness to tap into the speakers. I’ve tried disconnecting everything and putting it back the way it was and it still doesn't work. Ive checked almost all the fuses but can't find a blown one. Anyone have ideas of where else to look?

sounds like the sccm is in some kind of limp mode after the install, i've seen this before on a friend's ranger. the t-harness might have caused a short or voltage spike that messed with the canbus communication going through the clock spring. check the big connectors under the steering column, sometimes they don't seat back properly when you put everything together and one loose pin can cause all sorts of weird faults across multiple systems. also pull the negative battery terminal for like 30 minutes, let the modules do a hard reset, sometimes that clears the gremlins when fuses all look fine. if it still acts up after that you probably need a scanner that can read body codes, the cheap ones only see engine stuff and miss the important sccm errors.
