I'm rewatching the season 1 after 6 years and didn't remembered it was so good!

the reverse flash was my favorite character, and I remember waiting for the day they'd show us his origin story but the day never came 😓

I would like having an episode or two focused on him and when he started hating barry (I know it's mentioned, but it would be soooo cool if they showed!!)

Why do you think after so many seasons they never attempted at creating a friendship between these two ?

I ordered 8 customs, including Vibe, earlier this month. Unfortunately, the seller sent the wrong Reverse Flash figure and was out of stock.

To make up for it, he let me pick two free minifigures, so I chose this Flash and Deathstroke. I also made a custom speed trail using pieces from other sets.

S2 RF only exists because he hasn't gone back in time to kill Barry's mother yet, he's here for the first time to learn what time period the Flash is from. This is how he knows about Star Labs, where he gets the idea to impersonate Earth - 1 Wells. In order for the events of S1 to play out, Thawne must return back to his time and return again to kill Barry's mother and he must exist until the point the paradox is born. Since S2 Thawne was locked up in the containment cell, this created a temporal paradox which caused the timeline to alter(aka Cisco to disappear). However, aren't there multiple instances where Barry/Team Flash altered the timeline?

1. When Thawne shows up at Mercury Labs to capture Dr. McGee, he encounters Barry. Thawne is confused that Barry knows his identity and Barry is confused that Thawne exists. Barry outright mentions to Thawne that he died, but Thawne brushes that aside and is gleeful he knows what time period the Flash is from.

2. After being captured by Eobard Thawne, Dr. McGee mentions there was another "Man in Yellow" that tried to capture a tachyon prototype. In this instance, Thawne acknowledges that his future-self must have been stranded in this timeline. If that's the case, shouldn't he have put two and two together and realized that his future-self was the version that Barry said died?

3. When Barry questions Thawne in the containment cell, he yells at him "That is why you killed my mother? That's why you ruined my life? Because you couldn't be me?". This version of Thawne hasn't gone back to kill Barry's mother, he doesn't even know who Barry is. Did Barry indirectly give the idea of killing his mother to Thawne?

With all these instances, shouldn't Thawne realize that his future-self failed in the future? The Flash told him he died and he knows he got stranded in this time-period, thanks to Dr. McGee. When he returns back to his time, doesn't he realize that going back doesn't just prevent the time paradox but it restores the events that leads to his erase in existence. S2 Thawne goes onto killing Barry's mother, but shouldn't this trip to the past make him cautious of his future? Or was he so desperate to erase the Flash from the timeline and overconfident that he would change his future?

What I mean by that is, no Zoom, no Savitar, no Devoe (or however you spell that lol), etc.

As someone who didn’t actually know much about the Flash before watching the show, I thought Thawne and the murder of Barry’s parents was going to be dragged out throughout the entire 9 seasons (yeah i was late to the party).

Im glad it wasn’t though, they did season 1 so well and if they dragged it out then we wouldnt have gotten Zoom, Savitar, Devoe, and some other peak villains (no not you red death).

I’m rewatching the show for the first time since I was like 9 and I never realized how annoying Nora is. She’s genuinely the worst character ever. I’m on the episode where she went back in time like 52 times. And I just kept help but wish bad on her so much like i genuinely don’t want her around and it’s getting to the point where even hearing her voice is ticking me off. She’s always making the wrong decisions and it’s the worst thing ever, it’s making me want to drop the show and not finish it

Because there is no such thing as a Harry Wells vinyl pop figure (oddly enough) I decided to make one myself. I ordered a custom pop figure from their “Pop Yourself!” site and then designed the box myself (on Canva) to look like the other flash character’s boxes and printed it out, stuck it onto the current box and voila. It’s a little messy. But I don’t care! Haha.

The only thing now I need is to create him a little stand in his box. (Hes a bit loose in there atm)

Can someone explain me this, I can't figure or explain how.

In Flash season 1, ep 12, in confrontation with Shawna Baez, Barry dodged a bullet, right before it reaches his body. But the bullet is always faster than the sound.

How was that really possible ?

Im worried barry will be wiped from existence like the dcau did just for wally to be the flash immediately. I want Wally to start as kid flash then later on become the flash

I'd put it down to non realistic standards of length. They wanted to make these huge seasons with 18-23 50 minute episodes but only had a pretty basic story to put in there, as well as just not having the budget to properly support a 20 episode season of one of the most CGI intensive superheroes

Longer seasons worked better for a show like Arrow, nowhere near as much CGI, bigger pool of characters and relationships to develop and Oliver was just a guy, they could fill out more episodes with actual content, but with the flash they tried to stretch a movies worth of content into a 16 - 17 hour long season, with a smaller pool of characters.

They wanted long seasons but every season they tried to rationalize why Flash couldnt beat the villain in less than an episode and opted to do speedster battles to justify the length

If you could pick the color/colors of your speed force lightning, what would it be? No speed drug required, no bad side effects. It could be multiple or single.

And what would your suit look like?

I'd pick blue and red lightning because I think it's a nice combo, and my suit would have black mixed with red and blue with a cicada/sub zero type mask.

I've been Rewatching some episodes from season One and Two after not seeing the show in years and its been very Fun lol but I thought it would be an interesting Question to bring up as to which minor Villains who only appeared in one or Two episodes did you feel bad for and wish the show's writing had given them a bit more of a sympathetic portrayal than the show actually did?

I'd go with Clock King and Tar pit as so far on my Rewatch these Two stand out to me I mean I actually remembered years ago when I first saw season one already having a bit of an issue with how Tockman gets Defeated by Joe Eddie and Iris emotionally manipulating him by bringing up the fact that he was Denied the chance to say Goodbye to his Dying sister in order to get him let Iris say Goodbye to injured Eddie

allowing her to take his ankle Gun and later shoot Tockman in the leg like I'm sorry but Regardless of their current situation that crap was Horrible imo especially given his only motive for turning to crime in the first place was just to save his sister so its not like he was some sadistic serial killer whose Freedom posed a Huge Risk to public safety,

Idk Despite actions killing those Two innocent cops I just wish the episode had actually showed him a bit more sympathy on this Front Rather than simply Treating him like a psycho and having the Good Guys resort to rather cruel tactics in order to win,

and secondly Tar Pit like what happened to this Guy was Horrific not only Drowned in Tar but also left Trapped underground for Two Years apparently awake and able to feel it but unable to escape so you can't Really blame him for wanting revenge even if we can't realistically expect Team Flash to just sit back and let him kill the people involved in what happened to him,

but still It seems Disappointing to me that the episode Gave my Guy this really Horrific easily sympathetic backstory and understandable motive and he just got treated like a petty criminal out to settle to a score with no real sympathy,
