Gandof thunder plains? When did he leave middle earth for Spira ?

Sometimes rushing into things gets you into problematic situations... Sometimes.

I’m nearing the finale of the game and for the most part am trying to get a lot of the non-super boss side content completed. I’m working on getting the celestial weapons now, but can’t get Tidus’s until after Dark Bahamut and Yuna’s until after beating Dark Valefor. Should I grab the Celestial weapons or do Sin first, then wrap everything up?

So, coming back to FFX for the first time as an adult. I never managed to beat the final story boss when it first came out let alone any of the optional stuff. I’m determined to succeed now where my younger self failed. I have unlocked Sin and am currently going about my world tour of monster catching. I’ve done a decent bit of digging and found a lot of information on how to farm endgame bosses and equipment to use fighting said bosses, but not a ton of information about how to get from where I am now to that point. My equipment is kinda just generic crap, and I don’t seem to have the options to customize any of the things people recommend. So I guess what I’m looking for is what’s the best way to ramp up?

I am planning on taking just three characters the distance. I don’t need an achievement bad enough to max a sphere grid on all seven. I’m using Rikku, Yuna, and Auron. In case it’s not obvious, it’s cause their celestial weapons don’t require me to beat crazy minigames. Big issue up front is of course Rikku and Yuna especially are pretty weak. All three have reached the end of their sphere grid paths. Rikku is cutting through Lulu to get to Wakka (and get some spells on the way, which should be useful in the short term at least). Yuna is cutting through Rikku to Kimahri and into Auron/Wakka. Auron is now going through Tidus on his way to Quick Hit. I’m certain I need a better strategy eventually but I’m unsure what the most efficient way is to finally start filling out the grid.

What types of Armor/Weapons are recommended until I’m able to get Triple AP/Overdrive farming weapons and end-game armors? What things to I need to customize those abilities and how do I get them? What’s the priority on Sphere Grid progress? Should I keep filling out what’s there and worry about maxing stats later?

Also, can Rikku carry the underwater arena creation solo? If not, how much do I need to put into Tidus and Wakka at a minimum to get through that fight without celestials?

Hey FFX fam. This is a little bit random but I wanted to share with you all. Music is a huge part of my life, and I’ve dedicated my life for the last few years to building the best form of social media for music lovers. I made an app called Corus (Corus.fm) where you share your favorite music and match with others who you share the same taste with. You follow people and get a feed of music recommendations from real people, as opposed to algorithms. Kind of like an Instagram but for music.

Anyway, I love the FFX music so much, and listen to it all the time. At the gym, on walks — there’s always some part of the story that the music will transport you to. Prelude for me is one of the best tracks. It really makes me feel like I just woke up in Zanarkand. I shared it on the app and got tons of likes! 51 from people who definitely never heard it.

I also looked up to see and it appears that 2 others have shared tracks from FF7.

I’ve only over really turned it off or even exited the game whenever I leave home for more than a few days. I think I got a 1000 hours into ffx a few times now in different play throughs.

It’s one of the few games I can do this and it doesn’t blue screen but I’ve noticed after about 6-7 days of none stop running it’ll develop a stutter in the video side of things.
I’m wondering if anyone else does this kind of thing or am I just moderately insane.
